Well most people seem aware of cosplay, so I actually don't think it would be that weird :P I saw a One Piece photoshoot going down while I was playing beach volleyball at a summer camp And when I am on the MRT I have heard some rude people comment none-too-quietly to each other "她在玩COS嗎?"

I don't think your costume is ultra-stand-out-y anyway You probably don't have much to worry about!

I was at the book expo today and it was packed! No one cosplaying though x.x (Although I wasn't really expecting it)

Haha it's public so it isn't really stalking, no worry

I have been here around 6 months now, and I can read enough Chinese to guess the meaning of most things in context. So I can get around by myself Hate navigating Chinese sites, but I can do it :3

Can you read? Online I still use a translator to help with clarification :P

Yeah I can read.... at a 1st/2nd grade level :-P It's the websites that get me. Google translate can also read to you now which is nice :-P

Getting around places isn't too much trouble. I just have to spend a little more effort ahead of time preparing. (Checking it out on the map and making sure I know the characters of my destination at least somewhat) I've actually been biking around the city quite a bit during this trip.

Future reference for anyone else reading this. They had locker areas/rooms that people were changing in (and lockers) They also [eventually] had a bag check. I just left my stuff on top of a locker XD
