Oh you need contact lenses for your cosplay ? I cosplayed as little sister :P I bought yellow contact but they cover only your iris, it does the effect, but like Ion said, if you want sclera, you should make a custom order =/

you can see me as little sister on my deviant art if you want, I have yellow eyes but not the entire eyes ^^

@ Ion: Thanks for the suggestions! And sorry for the slow reply. I like the G&G GBT Blue you suggested and the Pretty Crystal Blue looks nice, but it's 15 diameter and I don't know if I can handle that. That's a pretty insane size. It would make for a very creepy effect, which is what I am looking for, but I don't want my eyes to lack oxygen haha.

Actually, the 15 mm size isn't that bad depending on the pattern look. This girl is wearing 16 mm lenses in Super Crystal Pink and her eyes don't look creepy or alien like. You have to wear the right amount of makeup and false lashes to balance out the largeness of the lenses and in the end they'll look pretty natural. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/...218902&theater

Could anyone help me with this descision? youknowit.com is on the list of non-FDA approved places, but the brand of contacts I'd be purchasing is not. Does that mean the brand is being counterfieted (is that a word?) and it'd be a bad idea to buy them or does it mean that just some of the brands on that website are bad for you?

Hi, I've never ordered opaque contacts before, so I'm not really sure what to get. First off,
I'm looking for pink contacts for Botan from Yu Yu Hakusho. http://www.moonlightwarrior.net/smil...mages/duo1.jpg

I thought these were a pretty pink http://www.princelens.com/index.php?...11&banner_id=4 but the model has brown eyes and I have blue, so I'm not sure how they will look. Also, my eye diameter is 14.mm and these are 14.5 : / Will that just make me have really big irises?

Secondly, I want to finally have a brown eye for my Syaoran from Tusbasa cosplay.
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_R4DyfxcSlq...and-sakura.jpg I'm a little afraid of eye strain when I have my prescription contact in (maybe with an enhancer to make my eyes less gray blue) one eye and different company contact in the other eye.
Any thoughts, suggestions, or recommendations on which contacts look the most real?

If I had to guess, it means that some of the brands on the website are not FDA approved, which really only matters if 1) you're super concerned about your eyes, 2) You're super concerned about obeying the law and 3) you live in the US.
If you can, I'd ask them for pictures of the packaging and compare it to the packaging of the brand that you know that you'd be buying. Make sure the the logos are the same and such.

I'm new to the whole contacts stuff, so I'm absolutely sorry if this is a stupid/misplaced question.

But I'm wondering where I can find violet-coloured prescription lenses that don't cost 100$ or more. I'm going to have my eyes checked out soon, but I'm afraid of how much the contacts at the doctor's will cost, and was wondering if there was a cheaper option.

Thanks!

Has anyone ever tried the iFairy Kirei blue, hanabi blue, or super crystal green, and G&G GBT blue (from pinkyparadise)? I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to color max aqua contacts and am wondering how those would compare to color max intensity wise, color-wise and comfort wise.

Just for reference, the iFairy contacts were found here. Also, I have dark brown/ black eyes. XD;

And in case anyone was wondering, this is the eye color I'm trying to get: 1 2
I've tried looking for contacts of this shade (slate blue, aqua-ish color) but so far, color max aqua seems to be the best for a decent price with prescription.

Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for red contacts for Sebastian Michaelis from Kuroshitsuji. I have never bought contacts on the internet before nor colored contacts. Any ideas where I can find any realistic-looking perscription contacts?

My sister is going to be cosplaying as Ciel. Any ideas for the contacts? She's not going to get the contract, so probably a purple.

I'm buying two pairs of contacts for upcoming cosplays (I need two different shades of blue) and I have run into an issue. Many of these contacts have larger pupil holes, which looks fine on dark eyes, however I have very bright green/hazel eyes so they definitely won't blend well with blue. It's really hard to tell in photos because of dark eyes blending with the pupils. I have found several contacts I like, but I don't know that they will fully cover my iris. The Dollyeye lenses are one of the pairs, and I've seen good reviews on them. But does anyone have any experience with the Dreamy Series? (http://ebeautyna.com/dreamy/dreamy-blue/prod_178.html)

Also, do all the dollyeye series have smaller pupil holes? I was looking at their II series and the color is good, but the holes look a little larger...(http://ebeautyna.com/edollye-ii/edol.../prod_313.html)

Ryoko: the super neon series is supposed to be really bright and opaque, so it should be good for your costume. It can be found here:http://www.pinkyparadise.com/webshap...roductItem=412
The lenses you're looking at will probably be bigger then 14mm because you're look at circle lenses, which are cosmetic lenses from korea that are meant to make people's eyes look bigger by covering osme of the whites of the eyes. Also, the nudy series is really bad for cosplay, even more so when you want a dramatic color change. They have some clear spots in them that allow your natural color to show through.

As for brown lenses, You should try something like these: http://www.pinkyparadise.com/webshap...roductItem=400 because they're pretty darn opaque and natural looking.

For more optinos on the pink lenses, try looking here: http://www.kiwiberry1-collection.com...lenses/page/1/

I don't recommend the nudy series, it's not a solid opaquely colored lens, up close it's a speckled colored lens that still shows your natural eye color through the blank spots in the coloring, and they're not that bright.

I would suggest the Pretty Crystal Pink: http://pinkyparadise.com/webshaper/s...roductItem=584 but the pupil hole is rather large on that one too so your natural eye color will show through the middle.

If you want a bright pink that is not too neon, but also noticeable and covers your natural color enough try the Adult pink: http://pinkyparadise.com/webshaper/s...roductItem=394 I've seen some great video reviews of that lens on Youtube.

EVERYONE, If you're not sure about how a lens will look in person, try looking up video reviews on Youtube, you would be surprised how many lens reviews there are.

I've looked up Dollyeye lens on youtube and found good results, but I've only been able to find the original series, not the II or III. And I haven't been able to find anything about the Dreamy series at all

That's because those lenses are listed under different names by EBeautyNa. They're not related to the Dolly Eye series at all, but some stores rename lenses, making it hard to find good reviews or store that sell the lenses under those names.

The eDollyeye II is actually known as the New Adult lenses. They used to be the Adult series but then they updated the lenses to have better coverage and color opacity. If you search for New Adult Circle lenses on Youtube you'll find plenty of reviews.

The eDollyeye III are known as the Geo Tri Color lenses on Pinky Paradise. There are a lot of customer reviews under those lenses, as they are pretty popular. On TheDollyeye.com they are known as the Gothic3Tones.

As for the Dreamy series, they're more widely known as the Max Pure. If you search for Max Pure lens reviews on Youtube there's quite a few. They have a large pupil hole though, and will not cover your natural eye color well. THey're also pretty light in color, and they appear differently on people's eyes than on dark brown eyes.

Hope I could help!
