*insert theme song here* Show & Tell
What is the title of it? What person/band sings it?
Choose wisely. Need I remind you the following? This is "the" song you... - Sing when you damn well please whether it be in public or private. - This song is a "pick me up" when you're feeling melancholy. It's uplifting. - Practically listen to it everyday sometimes once, twice, thrice, or more. - This song defines ----> you <---- - If you're passionate about hearing it, then every now and then you will get teary eyed when you hear it. - You'll listen to it till the day you die. ------------------------------------ As for myself, my theme song is called "Seven Years." It's played by a former group called American Pearl. When I heard it for the first time in 2004, I was automatically hooked! I was like "Oh friggin wow, I love it!!!" It's as if the person singing it was talking about me. Seven years to finally realize what I should be doing in life. It's basically as if it took me seven years to find my true self. A person who will not let people walk all over him, and those who try will wish they hadn't, for they'll be broken in half. Won't ever stop listening/singing this. It's my theme song 4 ever! Here it is if you wanna listen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EOi-_n7ctQ ------------------------------------- Get to posting!!!

Beck, "Where It's At".
Why? I am at all times, if possibly in the spiritual rather than the physical sense, possessed of two turntables and one microphone. Alternately, the ratio of turntables to microphones available to me in a given situation will reduce to an overall proportion of 2:1 or greater. This is an inevitability, at least in the world as we know it. But the world changes, children. Great forces move without your knowledge. When the day dawns upon which I may exert my dominion over a number of turntables equal to or fewer than twice the number of microphones, it is on that day that plagues will belch forth from the earth, locusts will swarm and crops will fail. Thunder will shake the mountains down and magma pour from gaping new-hewn maws of rock. On that day my dread hand, unfettered by the turntable which is its customary hearth and its shackle, will reach forth to grasp the core of this sodden, trusting planet and clench it to thick pulp as one would the heart of a mortal enemy. On that day, I will feast.

It seems very difficult to pick a single song that represents your life.
Perhaps Let the Right One Slip In by Morrissy? I listen to it quite a lot though I wouldn't call it my theme song. Lately Bach's Air on a G-string has seemed fitting from time to time lately. Though Here Comes The Sun by the Beatles gives me a particularly uplifting sense right now. I always quite like 'Sleepyhead' from Passion Pit.

Sleepyhead is an awesome song.
I don't know what my song would be. I don't think any kind of song really defines me, there's nothing I've listened to thats related to me in any persistent way. I mean unless I'm feeling shit about exs or my current relationship. And that's not really gonna cheer me up if it's Robyn singing pop songs about calling someone's girlfriend and breaking it off or Bombay Bicycle Club singing melancholic songs about wanting to go back to old times. Apart from that sense songs don't really have much to do with my personal life. I mean... I like dancing? A song to do with dancing would work. Hmmm. What's an awesome song I like about dancing? Los Campesinos - You! Me! Dancing! http://youtu.be/Nj6SO_yKMe8 Perfect! ![]() |
