So big question is, how do I get very easy mode in catherine, and will zwei hate me? I learned from catherine that I only want to enjoy games, not punch holes in walls and suscribe to satanic inclinations.

I'll probably be playing it on easy mode the first time through... whenever my damn copy arrives in the mail. After that (or maybe after getting all the endings) I'll kick it up to normal.

At the title screen, highlight "Golden Playhouse" and hold select/back for a few seconds to unlock it.

I loathe babysitting missions. A true mark of gameplay design shame in my book. It really takes off points no matter how much I love the game. I was literally 3 steps from winning when Katherine decided it'd be an awesome idea to sit around and wait for Catherine to knife her. I didn't TELL her to stop, mind you; but if I did, would she wait around to gget knifed again? Can't video games have babysitting missions in which the other person has common sense?

Otakon was this past weekend, so my bros and I celebrated by once again not going, mocking those who did via twitter and text, and having our annual drunkan fightan game tourney. Since MvC2 was retired last year, we ran emulated versions of X-Men: Children of the Atom and X-men vs. Street Fighter, and then MvC3, with penalities such as playing with one of those big collars you put around your dogs when dont want them licking their stitches, or taking a shot everytime you get hit with a super or hyper combo. Good times.

I also played some more Catherine, and I think I'm on either chapter 6 or 7. I'm playing it on easy as well, and completely unaware of any spoilers for the game, which is how I want to keep it until I at least beat it once.

Done with Rapunzel in Catherine, forever. That little looping tune that minigame features will likely haunt my darkest nightmares forever.

Up to chapter 6-2, hard mode is.... HARD.

Dude. Nier is my 2nd-favorite game of all time, and Silent Hill 2 is up there as well. Though I normally play games for their gameplay first-and-foremost, Catherine's half a social sim, and the suspense of wondering what happens next would probably affect my performance on the puzzle segments. I fully intend to beat that shit on the hardest mode eventually, though. That said, I usually go for games with satisfying/ hard but fair gameplay, hence my love for shmups, beat-em-ups, and fast-paced action games in general.

Me and mine also did not go to Otakon, stayed home, worked on cosplay and watched EVO, which resulted in me yelling at the laptop a few times when some absolutely crazy stuff happened.

Never pulled that penalty. Got stuck with wearing the cone of shame twice, all random team select, getting a wedgie and doing the truffle shuffle. It was not unlike playing "Calvinball" only replace the ball with video games.

Why Sam Vimes was talking to his stuffed tiger the entire time can be blamed on alcohol.
