Item purchased (please include quantity) I ordered a 36" Caramel Brown wig. What I received was a blond wig so I sent it back for a different color.

Timeline (how long your order took to process): I got the first wig within 4 days, but after returning it it's been over a month and I never received the second wig I was told was sent.

Describe your Experience:

It was good at first I was told I had received the wig I ordered but could switch the color if I wanted. So I did, I ordered a 36" Cocoa wig. I was told they did not have that length in stock so they would send me a longer one with no up charge. I thanked them for this, but this is where the real trouble began. I waited after being told the wig was shipped, but it never arrived. I asked for a tracking number three times and received no response. This was apparently due to them being at another con. When I finally got a response I was told said wig was shipped but the post office had not given them a tracking number. It's been almost 3 weeks since then I have never received that wig.

However that is not where this ends. I needed that wig for Otakon so since it hadn't arrived I was told I could get it from them at the con. The last e-mail they sent me said "are you ok with this?" I replied yes. I even asked if I could get it thursday and they said come to the booth EARLY friday morning. I found someone to get me into the dealers room half an hour early so I wouldn't have to wait till like 2 in the afternoon to put my costume on. I told them who I was and thats when they started beating around the bush saying they didn't have everything unloaded and they kept looking at the staff member who escorted us over and saying they arn't even supposed to be here. They wouldn't even look at me as they waved me off and said you come back later.

Now I am a way to nice person and It was upsetting me, and the friend I brought with me could tell. She told them we have been waiting long enough we just want the wig. They weren't even sure what color I ordered and looked at me and said "I told you I'd bring the wig if you never received it!" I'm thinking isn't this the conversation we just had online. They then proceed to say "I don't see how this is my problem!" I decided to come back later.

My friend went back alone for my wig later that day. I know that sounds pathetic, but I was upset to a point where I could not even talk to them. It was admitted to my friend that they never brought my wig in the first place. The excuse, they had just got back from another con, that was crazy and long wigs are heavy so they don't bring them.

The only Pros out of this is that at this point another owner I think his name was Tony heard what was going on and gave my friend my money back and a wig that worked for my cosplay.

Final Grade: D- The Only reason It wasn't an F was because of Tony who I give an A to. I'm not sure If I'll ever use Epic again after this. The sad thing is I've been using them a few years now and I did really like them until this. I have a few friends who have decided not to use them again after this to. Not just because of me, but they have had their own problems.

Both front
(Both are pictures SHE took. I have yet to take pictures myself)

Timeline (how long your order took to process) About a month..

Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments.
She has great communication, and is a wonder to work with. I would reccommend her for your shoe making needs.

PROS:
As said above, Great communication. She got my shoe size correct, and the shoes look amazing, I asked her if she could make spacific things look a certain way, and though i couldnt explain it that well she did it exactly as i wanted

CONS:
theres really only one, and its not that bad. Inside the shoe, where the zipper curves, i can feel a solid object and i dont know what it is. Its not a huge bother, but i think i can easily glue like foam or something to make it stop. Not that big a deal really.

Final Grade: A+

Character commissioned and series/video game: Panty from Panty and Stocking
Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: What I expected(full cosplay).
Timeline (how long your order took to process)
The process was very quick, probably about two and a half weeks for everything.
Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments.
At first, everything seemed to be doing really well. I was excited about my cosplay and ended up hurrying home when I heard it arrived. At first, I was disappointed to see that it was almost completely satin, where as the impression I had gotten from the picture was cotton with a special occasion fabric as the underskirt. Now, I gave them my exact measurements for the cosplay, but the top ended up being huge and didn't fit well. I would have been perfectly fine with this, though. Then, when I put on the skirt, I noticed that the hem was uneven, as can be seen here. But that wasn't it. I turned it around, trying to see if I could ignore it, and I notice a part of the skirt is less shiny. Upon closer look, it appears that they had spilled something on it, which can sort of be seen here. The stain, although does not picture well, has a few splotches all the way up the skirt.
So, I emailed them, thinking that they could do something about it. I have to admit, due to being aggravated that I'm moving and my convention is in a couple weeks, that I was more than a little angry about my cosplay and was probably more rude than I should have been, but I tried explaining the situation to them and sent many pictures of both. They told me that the spill was dust and it would go away with washing, along with that the skirt just needed to be ironed and the hem would be fixed, which although yes- it does need to be ironed, not to that degree. Then, I think somewhere along the line they thought I was complaining about the length, for they told me not to wear it up at my waist even though it was sitting on my hips. They told me they would refund me ten dollars, but there was nothing they could do about it. I am now stuck having to remake both my Panty cosplay and probably my Stocking's when she gets it.
Also, the only thing on the cosplay that was cotton was the gloves, which will be salvaged.
Final Grade: D

But now, here's the funny part.

Character commissioned and series/video game: Madoka Magica school uniform.
Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: What I expected(full cosplay).
Timeline (how long your order took to process)
Week and a half.
Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments.
Now, I ordered this a few days after my Panty cosplay, and it arrived before Panty, in which I was very, very pleasantly surprised. Everything fit perfectly, the fabric was amazing, and the only problem was that I had accidentally given them the skirt length I needed for Panty, when this sat at the waistline, making it way too short.
I emailed them, asking if I could but just the skirt again and they were very nice and told me how to do it. I had needed it in a bit of a hurry(sort of, cosplay meet versus con), but they emailed me saying that they didn't have the fabric anymore and that it would have some delays. I said that it was fine. Don't have the skirt yet, but if it is anything like the quality of the one I have, it is amazing. My only complaint is that the shoulders are really, really big and that they don't state on their website that the sleeves are detachable. If you plan to buy this item, make sure you give them your upper arm measurement.
Final Grade: B+

Timeline (how long your order took to process): Initial inquiry sent on January 16th, deadline was stated as March 18th (rush order). Date, however was extended to June 18th, 2011 because Commissioner neglected to pay attention to working on the commission I had paid for. Still ongoing, though commissioner has been unresponsive as of June 17th and has continued on to be that way, almost TWO MONTHS after the proposed due date.
Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments: Exchange of emails started rather fast. For the first few days, later emails became less frequent, resulting in me having to pester her for responses. A deposit of $200 dollars was sent early on. And there absolutely no progress aside from a VEST of all parts of the costume THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE A WHILE AGO. And that was for the first due date. I was lenient and extended the due date. However, that's where everything had went downhill. For a while, she continued to evade my emails that were generally inquiring about the progress on the costume, and they were by no means hostile or rude. Just, really normal. Although I sent emails, I saw that she updates both her twitter/DeviantArt fairly often. And it was then I came to the conclusion that I wasn't going to see any of my money back with me.
Final Grade: F-. -UNTIL this all gets straightened out.-

Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/1268/img1289z.jpg
Timeline: I emailed them with the pictures and specs somewhere 1-10 july and I received the frock coat 23th of august.
Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments.
This commission was for an item thats not in their webshop. In their first email the gave me a quote and pictures of fabrics I could pick from. I picked one of the standard sizes but also had an option to have it made to my size. I did ask them to adjust it to my height (5'3) because normally they make everything for 5'5. Anyway the coat is the right length now so that's great. After I send the payment on 14th july I heard from them next on 27th of july with a confirmation. Then the package arrived on 23th of august. They didn't send me an email saying they had shipped it so it came as a surprise. When I emailed them before it had arrived (the same day) they send me a tracking number, that was a bit weird.
As for the coat itself, it's well made and the fabric and lace are really nice. It's also lined and has pockets.
Final Grade: A

Character commissioned and series/video game: Black Jett Wig for use as Karkat (Homestuck)

Timeline (how long your order took to process): Ordered on the 15th, arrived the 25th

Describe your Experience.

Oh boy. Well, I ordered it on the 15th with 2 day shipping. I needed to make sure it was in time for SacAnime, as well as looked right. If not, I would need to style it.

Welp. After waiting, on the 19th late at night (I read it on the 20th) they sent me an email that said it was out of stock. So. They tell me this after it should have already arrived. I responded that this was really unacceptable, as I need it for SacAnime.

They respond to tell me they "don't like [my] language". What. How rude. They claim to be delaying orders, etc etc, even though this isn't on their site (just on FaceBook and Twitter, which I dont check as I hadn't bought from them before). The entire message was horribly rude, especially since I was sickeningly polite in my message (despite being upset). I was actually appalled that a professional company would talk to a customer like that.

After a bit of talking it out with them (a different person than the time before, as I see based on their signatures), they send me the wig. Apparently, they had one on hold for someone else who hadn't even paid for it. Me, actually having paid, got priority with that (after a bit of discussion on the topic).

It arrived today. When they shipped it on the 22nd. So that's 3 days with 2-3 day shipping. I did check the bag, and it just said "priority flat rate". Not sure if this was 2-3 day shipping, but it got here anyways so I don't mind.

Pros:

Beautiful wig.
Large sized, so it'd fit people wig larger heads.

Cons:

Absolute rudest customer service I've ever had. They treated me like a retarded child. Rude rude rude!
Didn't tell me it was out of stock until after it should have arrived

Final Grade: C+ Minus points for the rudest customer service I've ever had in my life.

Name of Commissioner - Sunfus Cosplay

Website/C.com gallery - Sunfus_Cosplay2007 on ebay

Character commissioned and series/video game (please include if this was the entire costume, just a jacket, prop, accessory, wig, etc.) - Barnaby Brooks Jr. From Tiger and Bunny - Jacket

Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item - Photo 1 Photo 2

Timeline (how long your order took to process) - 3 days of back-and-forth messages, then about 1 week processing time.

Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments. - Okay. So. I messaged them about the full Barnaby cosplay in their ebay store, asking if I could order the jacket by itself. A little red flag went up when they asked for the payment directly (which is actually against ebay policy), instead of listing the coat separately, but I figured since I'm doing it through paypal--if anything goes awry, I can always contact paypal and refute the charges.

So, it came out to $68 for the coat, and $25 for shipping, which was a little more than I'd like, but this is what I get for trying to put this together last-minute! I sent the payment, and within a week, a card showed up in my mailbox notifying me that I had a package to pick up at the post office. (Our apartment complex only has 2 mailboxes for packages, when they're being used you have to go pick your packages up in person at the post office.) I figured it was a textbook or something else that I had ordered, but it was my jacket! Furthermore, it had pockets! (Something that had not been mentioned in the description, and pockets are a big deal for me in cosplay.)

Anyway, the quality is about what you expect for a piece of a cosplay commissioned from Hong Kong, not super-thick, it's decent and the sleeves are plenty long enough even though the jacket is slightly shorter than I wanted. But holy crap did that arrive fast for something shipped all the way from Hong Kong!

Final Grade: B+ (This would be an A, but the weird...breaking ebay's rules thing brings it down just because it doesn't offer much security.)

Item purchased (please include quantity): 3, Liechtenstein wig, black layer curl (base wig),cocoa brown short layer(used for tsuna sawada)

Timeline (how long your order took to process), 8 days in count. 8/18/11-8/26/11
Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments.

Pros: I love all 3 of these wigs they have really realistic fibers, especially the black layer curl, after I tried it on I went to show my sister and she asked me "did you just get your hair cut"..I love the amount of thickness it has also, however I wish the bangs were a little thinner.

Con: the Liechtenstein wig isnt soft as I had hoped it felt a little stiff to me.

Name of Merchant: Wig Fashion
Website: http://stores.ebay.com/wigfashion
Item purchased (please include quantity): One short blue wig
Links to picture(s) of your received item: later
Timeline: Got it in two weeks.
Pros: Nice quality, soft. And if I've seen right, has a few purple-ish fibres mixed into it for a nice blend(though they didn't say anything about this). Plus, they give you a free wig cap, a good one too! Okay packaging. Affordable and nice price.
Cons: Might just be my screen, but color was slightly off from picture(a few slight shades darker). Not by much, but if you're very particular with getting the exact color, you might want to be careful with them. Also, wig is somewhat shiny(but far from horribly glaring badwig-shiny. Just... slightly.)
Additionally, the top is... weird. And frizzy-ish. Though, it's not really visible unless seen from above and inspected closely/touched(and I wore a hat anyway)
Final Grade: B. Though cosplaywig has slightly better quality(in my experience) and better-looking wigs, wigfashion aren't bad either(plus, they're cheaper). I might try them again.
