\o/ My best friend and I finally got the balls to cosplay Dynasty Warriors 7 (Dynasty Warriors has been a dream cosplay of ours for sometime). We decided on Sun Shang Xiang, Bao Sanniang, and coerced my boyfriend to be Lu Xun for AX '12.

Sounds like there is going to be a glorious number of Dynasty Warriors cosplay at Expo next year. Hopefully I will be able to make it next time.

My pals and i finally debuted our costumes for this year over the weekend! Some were in DW6, some in DW7. I was DW6 Sun Quan

We had
- DW7 Mr and Mrs. Sima
- DW7 Lu Xun
- DW7 Da Qiao
- DW6 Sun sibings
- DW6 Lu Bu

I'm leaning towards Zhao Yun (DW7 version) Initially, I wanted to be Guo Huai but I heard making an arm cannon is hard and pricey.

What an awesome group!!! I wish I could get a group like that together here... I consider myself lucky if I can find someone to form a duo with!

Specifically, so I do not kill my friend. >_____>

So, working on 7 Zhou Yu! *dances* I decided to edge away from doing Sun Ce, but my friend practically begged me, and now that I work at a fabric store, I really have no excuse >> But anyway, I am doing fairly well considering timing and all that. It needs to be done by the first weekend of November, and I have two jobs to juggle! *is going to be very busy this Thursday*

And I am glad to see everyone is excited and doing some cool work! *glances at Mel* I knew you couldn't resist Ma Chao. I just kneeeew it xD Not that I care, I love looking at your stuff and swooning <333 *hugs*

Well, if anyone has advice to toss out, I will gladly take it, and when I manage to finish this costume I will post TONS of pics 8D

I have to get my butt into gear because I've only got until April to get him done. My little Ma duo has suddenly turned into a massive Shu group!

hiya,dont mind me asking this,but how do you guys actually do the dragon designs on your cloth? Do you guys hand painted it or printed it .3.

It depends. Chinese brocade has gorgeous designs woven into it, if you mean the little dragons and such. For bigger, more noticable designs, I applique or sometimes embroider them.
