Highschool of the Dead – Zombies NEEDED

Hey guys! I hope you are having a good time. AnimeFest 2011 is fast approaching and a group of friends and I have been working on getting a Highschool of the Dead group together. As of right now, we have most of the main cast aside from Hirano. If you are interested in cosplaying any of the two let me know!

We are planning on having a Photoshoot on Sunday of the convention and we are in the dire need of zombies. So far, a few of our friends have volunteered and I am absolutely grateful for all the help provided but we wanted to make sure to have as many zombies as we can for good pictures!

This is the plan so far, and it is subjected to change/can be flexible depending on people’s needs. We are planning to wear the HOTD costumes on SUNDAY. Some point on Sunday morning (around let’s say, 9:30am-10:00am) we will get together with all the zombies and start working on their make-up. Yes, we will provide the zombie makeup and fake blood until our supplies last to look like the image posted above. Keep in mind if you want more wounds or more detailed work, you are welcome to buy some extra makeup or prosthetics like these [http://www.amazon.com/Fx-Makeup-Pros...492610&sr=8-4] and we will help to apply it. It is not necessary though.

Whatever you want to wear to the photoshoot is fine as long as you are okay with possible blood stains [Also, respect the AnimeFest dress code.] Old button up shirts and black pants are ideal for guys as they resemble the school uniform but not mandatory. We will be using Ben Nye theatrical blood [it tastes like peppermint!] that might stain clothes. Also, if you want to tear/rip some of your clothes that will be awesome. Keep in mind the more covered you are, the least we have to paint you etc.

Depending on the number of zombies, we will be ready around 11am-12pm and go downstairs, take pictures, have fun, terrorize a few people (I am joking). You name it. I have talked to some photographers that are interested on the idea and we will be having a private photoshoot.
