question about a blouse collar
Hello!
I'm making a blouse for my oscar cosplay but having trouble making the collar. it's one like on these pictures I just don't know what kind of pattern to draw and don't know if this sort of collar has a name? Any help is most appreciated! :3Last edited by kumi-kun : 11-19-2011 at 12:21 PM. |

That looks similar to collars worn by men during the 18th century. I've achieved similar results with this pattern:

This pattern looks like it might have a better collar for your purposes, although I've never used it before: http://butterick.mccall.com/b4486-pr...hp?page_id=916 I'd tend to stick to a pattern to ensure that the collar will sew nicely onto the neck of the shirt. The front of the shirt can be modified to achieve the look you want^^ |
