How would I attach this?
I am making black rock shooters jacket out of an old black jacket, and i need to know the easiest way to get the white stripes on the sides with out making it look bad. Im not sure if i should sew them on by hand, cut open the sleeves and use a sewing machine, or go at it with a different approach. So what is your opinions?

What material is the jacket made of?
My offhand suggestion I would be to do a really good job taping the stripes and hit them with a few coats of fabric paint. Do a good job, heat seal it, etc. and it would prob look fine. But if you could find a similar material in white I would probably hand sew it just because I always have a hell of a time working with sleeves like that on a machine. |

Im pretty sure the jacket is made from a cotton and polyester blend. But i never thought of using fabric paint and tape. That might work, thanks.
