Yuno Gasai: collar help?

Hi

Thank you for taking the time to read this thread :3

I will be cosplaying Yuno Gasai from Mirai Nikki at an event this Saturday. Unfortunately... my costume is yet unfinished D:
I have the skirt and socks (and wig) and a t-shirt which I am reconstructing to look more like her top. I also have white and red fabric with which to make the collar and the bow at the front. However, I am having trouble with the collar; I can't picture what shape it should be to cut out...
If anyone knows how it would be done, or has ever made a similar collar thing before (or even specifically for a Yuno cosplay!) I would appreciate any advice you can give me!^^
The best I can come up with is that it looks similar in construction to a sailor fuku-type collar. There are tutorials for that but I don't know if they would help me at all ^^'

Hi!!! try making a sailor fuko collar but make the back shorter and make the front stop abruptly :P I hope this helps but collars aren't my speciality

This is pretty much my plan if no-one has any more specific ideas, anyways^^
