Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments: And again, Cosplaywig doesn't disappoint. The wig is nice and soft(a few frizzy strands here and there, but nothing visible) and isn't very shiny. (the second pic might look like that, but it's the camera) Plus for a small skintop.

(these two pictures were taken by Joy herself, but trust me, the weapon looks just as beautiful in person!)

Experience: Joy was just amazing! I emailed her about this piece in early December, stating I needed a rush commission for this weapon for a convention at the end of January. She gladly accepted and we worked out a deal based on my available budget. She even asked for my own input for how I would like it constructed. She started working right away and provided PLENTY of progress pictures on a weekly basis and her average time to reply to my emails was one day! I love these qualities in a commissioner as I get very anxious when waiting for my items to be finished, and answering my questions in a timely fashion as well as providing progress pictures really helps calm me down! Even though the weapon was almost not finished on time, Joy paid OUT OF HER OWN POCKET to ship the weapon to the convention hotel overnight! I received the weapon at the con and my breath was taken away the moment I opened the package. It was hard to believe this beautiful piece of work was a rush commission! You could never guess! It folded in half just like Vanilles and the antlers were removable for easy storage.

The only con was not being able to claim that I made this weapon myself! Hahaha! Heavenly Axis was a big hit at the con and photographed beautifully.

Joy, thank you so much for you continued patience. You are such a delight to work with and I will definitely be back!

Timeline: About 2 months! Long before I actually needed

Pros: She was really nice, and asked questions about what I needed. She got the outfit done way faster than what I was expecting, and used very high quality fabrics! I will DEFINATLY order from her again!

Cons: Sometimes she took awhile to reply, which made me a wee bit nervous, since it was my first time commissioning from someone. That's the only thing, though!

Final Grade: A

I bought the wig off their ebay account on February 3rd, and it was supposed to arrive on February 7th or 8th for free shipping. February 8th came and went, so my mom emailed them asking what happened. They emailed back saying that they would check to see what was going on. A few days later, they emailed again saying that the wig was out of stock, and they asked us if there was any wig they could replace it with. Okay, that's bad. For one thing, it violates eBay's agreements to 'sell' an item that you don't have. They also didn't seem to apologize or offer some sort of compensation, they only offered to give us another wig of the same price. A price we paid already, so it's not like they're doing us any big favors. My dad replied that they have a few days to send the wig or he'll report them to ebay and get a refund. I find it a bit harsh that he's asking for a wig they claimed was out of stock, but it's true that they claimed to have had it in the first place.
I really wish that I could have given a better review, since I've bought from their booth at a con and the wig I got there was very nice quality. I think the problem is communication within the company, because they should have known that one of their wigs was out of stock.

I had decided to cosplay Gin for a con that was this winter. I already had a wig for it but I needed to style it for it to work, but I'm scared of cutting wigs myself... scissors hate me. XD So I found out Hansku did wig commissions and asked her if she could style it for me. I then sent her my unstyled wig, some references and what con I needed it at (I picked it up at the con, she went there too) and she did a great job styling it! Price was good, she worked quickly and contact was fine! I can't find anything to complain about and I'm certainly going back to her for future wig commissions! (and it's a plus for me we both live in Finland, haha)

Final Grade: A+

I had planned to cosplay as Kratos Aurion during Desucon Frostbite in Finland, 2012. But before the con I noticed that I wanted and needed a better styling on my Kratos wig. During that time I didn´t dare to cut or style wigs myself (was afraid to ruin it) so I asked Hansku if she could re-style the wig for me. But before I took the commission I had this little feeling inside me, since the con date was pretty close that Hansku might not finish my wig in time. So I took contact with her and described the situation and that I wanted the wig re-styled before the con. My commission wasn´t a problem at all for her, and she could get it done before the con. I was so relieved! Everything went really smoothly and both of us were satisfied with the commission. I picked up the wig before the first con day from her at the hotel. Another nice thing is that she lives in Finland (Sweden myself) which means not so expensive shipping costs for me.

The wig looked really great and she was very nice and fast to style it, the price was reasonable and I can´t find anything to point out or to complain about. I definitely turn to her again if I have future wig commissions.

Final Grade: A+

Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments: Communication was great. She was always willing to answer any questions I had. I ordered it in November so it took a bit slower granted the holiday season. The price was $40 for labor, $20 for shipping and $30 for materials. I asked for the cuffs, white skirt of fabric, and the epaulettes to be removable, and I asked for the jacket to be lined.

When I received it, it was not lined, and the jacket was secured together with velcro (which was glued to the ribbon trim and was coming off already), with the buttons glued onto the fabric. Three of the buttons ended up falling off within half an hour. The skirt was to be secured with a ribbon, but the ribbon would show through the bottom of the blazer. The cuffs were velcroed together and there was nothing to keep them attached to the sleeve of the blazer when in use. There were some loose threads on the sleeve and skirt part as well.

I had another commission lined up for her to make that I paid $75 for. I guess there was a tax taken out when it got to her so she only received $71.77 dollars. This also happened for the first payment but she never told me or asked for extra money which I would have gladly and immediately fixed. I paid $90 for the Utena costume, to which she was only given $86. I was never told that all of the money didn't go through. Also the money to ship the costume came out to be $26 instead of $20 apparently, and she didn't bother to let me know until later. Upon asking for a refund, she told me the actual amounts she received and that instead of getting $125 back ($75 plus $50) I was only offered back $91.77 if I shipped the costume back. So with losing the $26 dollars from shipping, I would get back $65.77, which is even less the whole second payment.

Edit: She finally agreed to give me back the full $75 and $50 because I opened a paypal dispute and locked her bank account. Two days later she still hasn't sent me the money though.

Ordered products on 1/16 and per the website due to fraudulent transactions they take 1-2 weeks to verify the order is legitimate and then 7-10 days to ship in the US. Figured that worked on my timeline as I needed to finish some parts of the costume before I started on wig styling. On 1/26 I check the account to see the status on my order, it is lasted as "final processing" and noted at this stage it is too late to change or cancel the order.

I also noticed there was a different order on my account, it was for a "Jane Doe" in a different state. I could see her name address and what she ordered and her method of payment. I called the company to tell them about this error, and they sent me an email saying my order is in progress and they will email me when it ships. I responded that I did not email regarding my order, but that I could see another customer's order, and I wanted that changed and was concerned that other customers could see my information. Their response was they were changing servers and would correct the error eventually.

On 2/21 I checked my order status again and it was still at "final stages of processing", I emailed the company stating my concerns that I ordered my items over a month ago and wanted an ETA on the items. Received an email saying one item was out of stock and it would be cancelled and my credit card credited for the amount and the other item will be shipped. I later received emails stating my order has been shipped and one item has been cancelled, and another stating my credit card has been credited. I checked with my credit card company and the amount they claim was credited to my account was credited.

My styrofoam head holder arrived in the mail this morning. It was intact, but it is fairly obvious they just tossed it into a USPS first class envelope and tossed it in the mail. I'm just glad it's not a fragile item.

Final Grade
: D-

Customer service was non existent, I had to email them to learn anything about my order status. I had no knowledge that one of my items was out of stock and the company did not give me the option of cancelling the out of stock item or waiting until it was in stock to complete the order. I had access to another customer's order information, and the company did not seem concerned about this at all.

When dealing with this company one of my first thoughts was to warn the cosplay community to avoid this company like the plague.

Pros: Cheap Price, good quality cosplay prop. He was very good with keeping up with my stupidity when it came to paypal. He was amazing when it came down to sizing and everything was well. I was happy to accept his finished work.

Con: none so far

Comments: he is very fair for what he asks. The cosplay prop itself is nearly indestructable and takes a good beating.

Final Grade: A+

Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments: All I wanted was to have the Pinkie Pie Launcher done for my Pinkie Pie costume. I just wanted the gun done. This seller emailed me saying he can finish it at my time frame. He was really nice in his email and he said that he will give me picture updates on the process until it is done. He gave me his website and said he is a professional prop commissioner. Okay sounds good. He said it will cost $80.00 to make this. I agreed and paid him on Dec 22. I waited and waited to hear anything about the prop. My convention I was attending to was the end of January. Mid January I finally emailed him. He said he didn't start on it and will do so and he will get it finished in a week or so. Waited for a week...the week of the convention...emailed him again and he said he will try to send it out soon and show me pictures. I never had any pictures or any communication after that. I did email him saying I want the prop done at least before my NEXT convention. He still did not email me. So I waited about 3 weeks. I just emailed him 2 days ago expressing my frustration and concern. His excuse to me was he got into an accident and will start the prop soon. And of course today he refunded my money and basically told me my order was canceled and "Have a nice day." Seriously? He kept my money for 2 months and did not contact me. If I did not email him, he would have not contacted me. I am angry and disappointed because it seem like so many people that say they can finish a commission are not doing so. If you can't make it please do not contact me. It is a waste of time and I am angry that I did not have this for my convention.

Timeline (how long your order took to process): Placed the order January 10th, received it March 1st. I ordered right at the start of Chinese New Year, so I expected there to be a wait (and they did inform me of the wait.)
Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments: Ordering was smooth and very simple. Processing and shipping took a long time because, like I mentioned, I ordered at the start of Chinese new year, so they weren't working on costumes for a while. I emailed them two days ago to check the status of my order, and they said they had shipped it that day. It arrived on my doorstep today. Very quick!
Final Grade: B+

I only have two qualms. One is that the scarf is not the same color pictured (though this can be remedied with dye, so not a big deal,) and the other is that the top is not low cut enough to allow for Matsumoto's cleavage, so I will have to alter the area where it closes to sit lower down. All in all, the costume is of great quality, fits me nicely and is very comfortable to wear. I would definitely recommend them.
