Here are some pictures of the Aela costume I'm working on:
http://i41.tinypic.com/r1k1vm.jpg http://i40.tinypic.com/w1b9qb.png http://i44.tinypic.com/2010myt.png The armour is mostly cut out and the gloves are almost done, but I'm waiting on some things in the mail (wonderflex, resin dye, etc). Slowly but surely! |

@ringo, howdy ringo! long time no type. How's it been?
as for elderscrolls, assuming I can keep everything together I can make some bracers with the logo on them, fold out an iron helmet and an iron sword, make an arrow-in-the-knee band (with a spring to prevent arrow poke-age) and a white shirt that says "I use to cosplay...". and that will be for AB and connecticon. |

@Hells_Knight I was wondering if you can provide me with the pepakura files of the Daedric armor and helmet... I really want to do this costume so bad for an anime convention that admits game stuff too... I do really appreciate your help! thank you in advance and hope you keep doing your awesome work

Well as mentioned in another thread, I plan on doing the Thieves Guild armor from Skyrim, just waiting on my yards of pleather. My sewing machine is going to hate me so much >.<
(That, or once I find someone willing to be my model for it, a Dragon Priest, since I already know how I am going to do the ribs, and making their face look all creepy and dead like) |

Hello, I have returned to making my costume and checking forums!
Greetings, Bwentali! You ready for the con? Two weeks O: I still have to hem my robe and my boyfriend has to put the edging on his and finish his mask. We've decided we'll probably not have any weapons. I might bring a bamboo staff I bought at michaels but I don't know if AB will let me take it and I think PAX is even more strict. if anyone needs a good reference for destruction robe graphic, the wikia has a good one. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/el...struct_(1).jpg Last edited by RingoDeathStarr : 03-26-2012 at 05:29 PM. |

That looks great! Man, I have been so lazy on working on mine, I keep getting distracted by other costumes I want to make and, ah! Must focus.

Thanks and I totally know how you feel. I have a million other ideas for cosplays. The only reason I've made any progress is because our con is in 2 weeks!
Mine still looks like a potato sack >x< But I need to find a belt that works. |
