Re-parting/training bangs on heat resistant fiber
All right, this question may have been answered before but I couldn't manage to find it in my searches. (Sigh. Sorry.)
When re-parting bangs to fall to one side in a wig with heat-resistant fiber, what's the best way to make it stay? I've only used regular Kanekalon wigs before, which respond well to hair dryer heat for such purposes. That's probably not going to cut it for fiber that can take a hair straightener or curling iron. I'm thinking I'd like to use a steamer - is there any reason why this shouldn't work? I'll be following it up with a shot of hairspray to keep it looking nice, but I want to re-part and train the bangs before I trim them. I figure I'll do the hairspray during the general cutting/styling process.

A steamer should work just fine, you're biggest help is going to be having the fiber cool down in the desired shape. I would steam it, then use pins and whatever else to get it to stay where you want it to be trained to go, then let it cool down completely. And if that doesn't completely do the job, finishing it up with some hairspray is a good idea.

Perfect. Thank you so much!
I wouldn't worry about this normally but my access to tools is limited, so I need to figure out my plan before I start working on it. (The hazards of styling outside your normal workspace!)
