Question ciel cosplay- HELP!

so in 5 days i will be cosplaying as the girl (robin) version of ciel phantomhive. the one thing i still havent figured out is how im going to carry around my phone and money. when i ordered the dress the people said that they couldnt incorporate pockets, and i cant find a purse that fits the outfit/time period that's in my price range. i cant carry everything in my hands but i dont want to look odd with some random purse over my shoulder either. please help!

You could always get a little white satin drawstring bag and carry your stuff in that. I've done that before with formal costumes (always matching colors to the dress).

Way way back, (I'm not quite sure if it was exactly the Victorian Era) The dresses often had a slit on each side. Underneath that, above the petticoat, tied around were two pockets.
Have you ever heard of that nursery rhyme: Lucy Lockett lost her pocket, Kitty fisher found it?

That's what I would do, anyway. That way, your hands are free during the day.

You can always just carry your normal bag around and when people ask for pictures, you can take it off! :3
