Since I've just come away from my first real con, I'd love suggestions for cosplay before the next! (whichever it may be)

Not really a crossplayer.

Wigs? ABSOLUTELY. I love 'em. My natural hair is about the same color as the first picture, but a little longer now, past chin length.
Contacts? Not really. I'd have to buy a test pair to see how my eyes do with them (horrible vision + astigmatism ><) Eyes are dark brown.
Complexity? Not too much of an issue, I like a good challenge. And I'm interested in doing a long-range project.

I need suggestions that AREN'T from anime/manga. Video games, books, movies and etc. are fine. ^^
I'm 4'10", my hair is somewhere between a blonde/caramel-ish brown color (lotta different shades in it), wigs are totally okay if they aren't impossible to find or expensive, and I'm pretty much okay with contacts. I have glasses, if that's at all relevant.
I don't want anything that would be very revealing in the stomach/chest area.
Also, crossplay is fine.

OH, and, my hair is naturally curly, but I can straighten it with no problem.

I've got naturally curly hair and a ton of it. It's very thick and with curls it hits at the underside of my breast. Straightened it gains about two inches. Of course, none of this matters with a wig, but I'm not opposed to using my real hair if and when I can. I'm 5'4" and averagely built.

yeah, the photo does look greenish cos it was taken in da bathroom (shame). it was the only decent photo that didn't make me look heaps ugly -_-
