I took 7 to AB (fit in carry-on luggage, heh) although some were AU outfit variations of the same characters... That's probably the upper limit but it depends on how many panels/shoots I'm in.

I take a different costume for each day of the con. So I have different sized suitcases depending on how long the con is XD

normally no more then 2. we tend to carpool to cons so its usually more of a 'what can we wedge in here without crushing everyone on this 45min-2hr ride?' kinda thing.

I average about 5 costumes a convention. Sometimes more it depends on where I'm traveling or how big each costume is. ^_^

Usually just two anymore - one for Friday, one for Saturday. Sometimes I only bring one and wear it both days. I've worn a costume on Sunday a few times before, but prefer not to. I've also done the costume switching thing mid-day once and that was such a huge pain! It was necessary that day, but I won't do that again if I can help it, unless the costume I change into is a comfortable one I can change into quickly. It normally just takes too long to get into costume. I don't now how people ever wear 5+ costumes in one weekend.

My convention lasts 5 days, and I bring 5 costumes.

Usually just two costumes. Sundays are rarely worth cosplaying since you have to pack up and get everything out of the hotel room. Most I've ever brought to a 3 day con was 3 cosplays and some things for the rave. Most of my costumes have a lot of stuff and I already get made fun of for my luggage, so I can't imagine bringing more.

Still debating how many I'm going to bring to Dragon *Con, since it is my first time going there.

Usually just one because I used to only go one day of a con. Now that I've decided to go full weekends, I'm planning for two or three. Part of that is because the cosplays I chose have overlaps in attire (namely, blue t-shirt, black pants and black shoes) so I don't have to carry as much in general and that I can change cosplays on the fly depending on the situation.
