Devil Survivor Protagonist Help!!

The next cosplay I plan on working on is the protagonist from SMT Devil Survivor, not sure if he has an exact name

So I have a few questions!

- Do his pants look Red to you? They feel more pink to me than a bright ruby red.
Maybe a cranberry color?
I was thinking about getting a pair of white jeans and then just dying them! Any other ideas?

- Where would I be able to find a shirt like his? Maybe I should just look for something along those lines and just alter it?

I guess really any suggestions about, anything you guys would have would help me out a ton! I'm new to most of this stuff

1. The pants looks like a very dark pink or a red with a shade of pink in it. Cranberry seems like it would work.

2. The shirt is probably wool or maybe cotton or some other soft fabric? Your best bet would be at Goodwill/secondhand stores (Really really cheap! Should cost less than $10) and then alter it. It looks more Fall/Winter appropriate so you might be able to find something similar at retail stores (It's definitely be a lot more price-er if you do that but it's more guaranteed that you'll find something similar at retail).

I'm thinking about just trying to sew a shirt myself and just buying a white pair of skinny fit jeans and dying them to the right color :]

Then I would just need to figure out how to make some headphones and a nice wig

1) It really depends on the picture. I say that they are red (the comic anthology seems to support this too). "cranberry" does describe it well, though.

2) In my case, my shirt was a turtle-neck (but not a sweater). I just needed to fix it up after that.

I'm pretty sure it's the first link (material collection)... They are scans, but lots of detail. They are useful, as they show what the back of the headphones look like too.

Awesome thanks a bunch!

I'm finally getting somewhere with my headphones! I have the rough shape done for them. I need to straighten out the wire a bit more, epoxy the wire to the ear pieces, add the red cable, ear clips and touch them up a bit :]

If you haven't gotten to the clothing yet:
The character art seems to give it a fairly pink tone, seen especially when the colours start fading out by his feet. I bought a pair of light pink jeans and dyed them fairly splotchy to give off that appearance. The game sprite, on the other hand, gives more of a red tone than pink, so it's really up to you. I personally opted for pink because I liked the drawn interpretation more.

For the shirt, I bought a loose ribbed shirt, shortened the sleeves and sewed a collar onto it with a wide bias tape. It seems to do the job fairly well.

Your headphones seem to be going well! Have you considered using a thicker wire, though? The one you have looks a bit thin in comparison to the ones on the character art.

The few craft stores didnt have much wire to choose from :/ its a 10 gauge wire, I wish I could have found something bigger at the time so I just went with this!
