My friend finished using a ton of cardstock but had a ton left and came by today to hand me the rest since he didn't need it. He then showed me how to use Pepakura (I needed to make a dome to use as a base for my mask) and so I decided to work ahead on the mask instead of the leggings as planned today.

I'll be making some modifications to the eyes (still not where I want em), and the nose as well. It doesn't appear as "thin" as the mask should at the moment as the paper is naturally expanding out so I have to form it back a little as well. Hopefully that will resolve and issues but overall, not bad for my first time I think?

95% finished my Faith from Mirror's Edge cosplay. Just need to get the little things, now... Red glove, white shoes, black armband, and I'm dying my hair on Saturday. ^_^ Stoked.

It's really difficult to take a picture of the full length with just one person. I did do a test run outside with 2 people (scared the neighbour's kids) and it is manageable. We also have matching "Team Gyarados" t-shirts. We might have a third person come but not sure yet. It is manageable to use even with my brother's broken arm.

Yoshi is almost done. Just need to finish up the boots. I am only adding bright green to the bottom of the leg portion and luckily I have the same bright green shoes which works out perfectly! Yellow yoshi wears bright green boots. I have a hat, green shirt and the stache.

I bought biker short style leggings from Ardene yesterday (2 pairs and another pair of tights 3/$10) and with where Ren's tights stop on her legs, yeah... very unsightly on me and cuts off circulation. Comfortable spot? Ends at my knees - which is longer than they should be.

Oh well, if people don't like the inaccuracy of the tights length because the accurate isn't comfortable, they can STFU.

And Ren's skirt is being a pain >_< I've never made pleats before, so my mom is helping me. And they're being annoying because I only have 1 meter to work with to do them.

Depending on the size of the pleats you end up need to twice to tree times the amount of fabric once your done. >_<

Crap >< I wish my mom had told me to buy two meters now, or even three. But we've gotten to the point she's basically said "bugger ya!" and has left me to do the skirt on my own. I'm just going to do gathering.... I just don't want to look at this thing anymore. And it doesn't look entirely pleated depending how you look at the skirt in pictures.

I did a slight gather after taking apart what my mom had me sew together - would have been way too much of a gather >_<

Though I don't have the right boots for this outfit right now, I'll use the ones I bought for the other - will have the right ones for Otakuthon though :P
