How to attach leather to skin?

I've searched the forums already, but I didn't really find a sure answer... so I'll ask.
What's the best for attaching mini leather belts to legs? Yes, leather, not pleather. They will have glass vials in them too, so they might be a tad heavy. Not /heavy/, but you know.. yeah...

So far the options I've come across:
Coat the back with liquid latex and then spirit gum that to my leg (I like this one.. since the latex would double as a "lining" so I don't have that rough leather back on my leg
Plain Spirit Gum
Plain Liquid Latex (hows?)
Sock Glue (not sure if it'd hold something heavier than fabric)
Regular white glue stick (see above concern)

Which of these options would work the best, if any at all? I'd like to get something I can find in stores (There's a Frankels I can do to for liquid latex, spirit gum, not sock glue though) just so I don't have to pay for shipping. I'd also like to re-use this for other items (another costume I will somehow need to fake a spindle going through my arm. Yes, morbid)
Btw, I will be having four of these belts on each leg ^^;

If you want to reuse it, I would lean towards hollywood tape. This can be found in most any fabric store. It's just a thin double-stick tape made for sticking fabric to the body.

I don't recommend plain liquid latex. It doesn't have terribly strong adhesive ability.

I don't particularly recommend spirit gum. It gets crusty and nasty and is not easily cleaned off of surfaces without solvents that might damage your leather.

Oh! Another option I found was Pros-aide
I don't mind the back getting gunky (but solvents don't sound too good either)
What I'm worried about with fashion tape is that it just won't hold. I don't mind using semi-heavy duty stuff just so it won't fall down. Plus, I would be able to use it for the spindle

If you can get ahold of pros-aide, then it is excellent stuff; I use it all the time. I only didn't mention it because you were trying to find solutions that you didn't need to order.

I suppose the pros-aide could work slightly better than fashion tape, but if applied properly, and assuming it's a part of the flesh that isn't contorted too much (like around the legs), I think fashion tape would survive fairly well; maybe something like 1 touchup a day.

If you are able to, you might want to also scuff up the underside of the belt with some coarse grit sandpaper. This will expose more of the fiber of the leather, and give whatever adhesive (tape, prosaide, whatever) more surface area to grip onto.

I was going to see if there's Pros-Aide at Frankels :0 Hmm.. I may have some time to order some because it seems like the best..
And alright, thanks for the tip!

Yeah, I would recommend Hollywood tape. It's expensive, but reusable, and likely to last the whole day.

*You can get Hollywood tape at Joann's Fabrics at around $10-15, or something like that. I forget the exact price ^^;
