Keeping stockings up
Wasn't sure if this is the right spot... but yeah =/
How on earth do you keep stockings up?! I bought double sided tape but it wouldn't stick to my skin. I hate having to pull them up every 5 seconds. They go up to the middle of my thigh. I can't use and kind of straps or anything because it would make the costume look wrong (pink stockings for Yoko Littner) Thank you!

I'm also trying to figure this out, Perhaps you could use something similar to clear bra straps to hold them up so they aren't so visible?

Ohhhh, the glue stick thing could help. Or maybe even panty hose. I didn't think about either of those @.@ I shall try it! Thank you

Get you a bottle of this. It really does work. My friend uses it on her thigh highs for Lenalee from D.Gray-Man and she can run around in them all day without them falling down.

I highly recommend the sock glue from Sock Dreams.
I use it all the time. Or these sock garters. I've used these to hold up sleeves as well. |

Sock Glue. I have this stuff from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Jobst-Stays-Ro...7284012&sr=8-2 and it works like wonders. I absolutely recommend it.

well... xD
Call me crazy but, when I cosplayed teto kasane I seriously just wrapped my leg/boot covers in pink duct tape it worked perfectly but was pretty painful to remove on the car ride home from the con, maybe you could get clear garter straps(like use clear bra straps) I wouldn't recommend duct tape :3

If tape and sock glue wont cut it - I always use craft adhesive. the Elmer's glue spray works WONDERS.

I've had that issue. I usually end up putting on sheer/nude pantyhose or stockings and attaching them to the socks so you don't have any problem. Tape never worked for me.

Irish dancers use a special type of sock glue to keep up their socks during competitions. The glue is quite strong as the socks have to stay up with activity and sweat. I think the glue won't cause any skin problems as young kids wear it and they tend to have more sensitive skin. Don't quote me on that though.
