Glow in the dark help

So I'm doing Naked Snake for a meetup and I wanted to do his zombie camo facepaint. Now I've done this before with standard black and white facepaint, but this meet will be at a location that has a LOT of blacklights. I figured, how awesome would it be to make my face glow?

So I tried using some glow in the dark (GITD) makeup by itself, but it just made my face look jaundiced, and barely glowed. Then I tried putting on a white base and covering that with the GITD, but in most places the GITD just messed up the under layer of white and didn't do much at all. There were a few places where the white base remained and they glowed great.

Is there anything I can do to make the white "stick" and not get mixed up with the GITD?

EDIT:Before anyone else asks, or makes a smart remark, NO, the white makeup is NOT blacklight reactive. I tried that already.

Doesn't white already glow under a black light? It might glow if you just do what you were doing before.

Nope. I tried that before going out and buying the GITD makeup.

White glows considerably better than glow-in-the-dark things under a blacklight.

My white makeup is not blacklight reactive, and I haven't found one that is.

You're not going to as it's not going to be true white. It's going to "blend" with your skin tone. An alternative would be to wear a mask.

A mask isn't an option, and it seems that you didn't really read my first post.

I need to layer the GITD OVER the white, but it wants to mix with the white. Is there anything I can do to set the white so that the GITD doesn't wipe it away? Do I need to wait for the white to fully dry, or can I set it with powder before putting another layer on top?

Try waiting for the white to be fully, fully dry and very gently dab (!) on the GITD using a sponge or something of the sorts, being careful not to rub. Usually putting a cream product on top of a powder product gives a very messy result, so I wouldn't recommend setting the white with powder.

I did read your first post and I don't appreciate being attacked when merely offering a suggestion.

Sorry, I just got frustrated when people kept mentioning things that I thought I had already explained didn't work.

AH! Thank you! I'll give that a shot. If it works, I'll post pics later.

What would that do? I'm not terribly keen on blasting myself in the face with hairspray.

Glow in the dark or (light reactive) pigments for the body are hard to find because the FDA doesn't want to regulate them and has banned them for use on the face.

They are perfectly fine however. >___>
I've got my set from a few US seller until some ass decided it not safe to sell.

I have to agrre that not all white Glow in black light but my Clown makeup for the Red Queen sure did!

I already have the glow makeup and the white base, and I can't really spend any more money or wait for delivery.

I just need to get them to play nicely together.

Hairspray is sometimes used to set (stage) make-up. I don't know what the effect will be when you apply another layer on top of the hairspray, though.
