=) Hello all. I'm 23 and live on the east coast. Currently I work in the enrollment department of a virtual public school. (posting from there right now actually as I wait for more work to come in, haha. Rocking to Disney music.

)
Just joined a day or two ago and wanted to say hi. I've been lurking around for a week or two now reading through dozens of tutorials and decided to make an account to be more active in the community. At the moment I am mostly useless and in need of help, but hopefully with time I'll get decent enough that I'll be able to help other folks on here with their own questions. *Crosses fingers* Love the community that I see here so far, everyone for the most part seems to friendly, polite, and with quite a number of folks willing to give advise to others.
I'm pretty new to cosplay. I go every year to Otakon, but have only cosplayed once and that was years ago. Went as Youko Kurama and got myself fly tackled into a wall by a rather excited teenage girl.
I know very little about all of this, but I am hoping through experimenting and reading up on here to make it a hobby and cosplay every year instead of just randomly. =( Sadly while I have a number of friends I go to Otakon with every year most do not cosplay as they do not have the time or money to do so. Hoping when I get proficient enough at this I can at least donate my time/budding skills to help them, if not having enough left over scraps to at least put a few things together for them if they are lacking the funds.
