a friends of mines did yoko n she did everything from scratch,she tried to make it secure because bathing suits can easily be undone so im guessing that's why she mad it to make the back secure and locked tight

Oh man, I hadn't even thought of the top coming off...that's a really good point...from scratch it is then. I would hate to have a wardrobe malfunction! Plus making it from scratch I could get a better fit anyway. Thanks!!!

Currently I'm working on an Adiane cosplay, in the least it's been a pain in the butt! haha. All I have to do left on her kimono is add the ruffles, and fit it to me better. I'll try to remember to post pictures!

Hey guys.

Gurren Lagann, the mech itself cosplay.

I', trying to think of the best way to do this. Ideas? I'm wondering if there's any information in this thread before I go through and read the whole thing only to not find anything?

So initially I'm thinking zentai suit, then look into methods of armour making and put it all on over the top. Just need to explore suggestions.

Any ideas are much appreciated.

I think that's a good idea for a base. It would just kind of depend what you have available to use, where you are wearing/what you are wearing it for, and unfortunately it comes down to a bit of skill level too. Using craft foam...i think is what it's called, and shaping it and then using a satin/sheen finish on it to give it a slight metal/shiny look would be the easiest to shape it the way you want and to keep it light and maneuverable...I would also get in touch with people who have done Iron Man cosplays and things like that, you might get some good ideas from them.
