Twilight Princess Zelda

Hello fellow cosplayers!

I need some help! I do my best work along the lines of constructive criticism, so if you could, could you please visit this link: http://carlyehannah.deviantart.com/gallery/37545758 and comment on the photos with things I can improve on, or what you think is good about the costume.

Thanks! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Very nice probably one of the best Zelda cosplays I've seen keep up the good work.

It's true you cosplay's awesome. The only thing I can fault you on is try to be even cleaner with your glue/glue gun on the crown. Little crusty bits are poking out :P

What contacts did you buy for this? They look great!

Overall, I can't see much wrong. Looking very good with a nice fit. You'll have to try doing Puppet Zelda makeup with this some time.

Why does everyone post awesome costumes in the critique section? I want to critique, dammit! But I got... nothin'.

Great job.

^ Seriously. I know we're not supposed to say OH MAH GAWD THAT'S SO AWESOME... but.... holy crap. That is a REALLY good cosplay. I don't see a lot of Twlight Princess costumes have THAT much detail @.@ Fantastic job.

Oh goodness, thanks so much everyone!!! I seriously appreciate the wonderful comments! I just kept finding little things wrong that I wanted to change, and also wanted other opinions.

@Libis: I got them from www.thedollyeye.com. I think they're the "Dolly Eye Blue" ones.
@Kerr Bear: Thanks for the tip! I hadn't noticed that! I think that's actually from where I didn't sand the fiberglass well, but I'll be sure to get on that.

Your Costume is awesome! the detail is great! But with the costume. This part of cosplays some people overlook, but is one of the most important aspects of recreating a character. The make-up. I can see you tried to recreate the game makeup a little, but you really have to stylize a little bit more. Humans do not have anime eyes so you've really got to be creative with make-up. your eyes have a nice roundness to them but you need to make the inner part and upper outer parts more pointy like this image. http://www.brainygamer.com/photos/un...24/zelda22.jpg The facial features can to often be over looked, but your thin eyebrows are a cosplayers blessing, because you can alter them to do whatever you want! I'd make them longer and as much like Zeldas eyes as possible. I know you already know this but the ears? Pointed ears are really cheep and can be attached pretty easily. http://www.aradanicostumes.com/small_anime_ears Hope that helps!

O.o thanks so much! That's the best critique I've received. Very helpful! I actually have ears, I just didn't feel like wearing them for this particular photoshoot. :P But the makeup tip was VERY helpful! I'll definitely work on that.
