Need help on Yukiteru from Mirai Nikki

Currently trying to make a cosplay outfit of Yukiteru from Mirai Nikki. He looks like this http://blog.draggle.org/wp-content/u...nikki_03_1.png I want to figure out what kind of jacket to look for to make the costume or what kind of pattern I would need to make it. If anyone could give any suggestions it be nice and thanks!

are you thinking about making it from scratch?
It's really hard to sew leather/faux leather, but here's a jacket pattern that might work.

Depends on how much trouble you want to go through, you could even etch the details in...or embroider >.<. I would use 3D fabric paint for a quick and easy solution though

If you don't want to make it from scratch, you could visit some local thrift stores to see if they have any similar jackets that you could modify.

Thanks and I'll take a look at that! I want to modify a jacket if I can find the right one, but needed to find a pattern in case it doesn't go as planned.
