I was thinking of Cosplaying as Kaylee is anyone else doing Firefly?

YEP! We have a whole Firefly cosplay group going - we have a Simon, Inara (me!), River and Zoe, with a possible Wash and Jayne (Zoe's RL husband). We're friendly! We'd love a meetup!

Another Kaylee! When? I'm planning on being Ghostbuster Kaylee for the parade and an hour or two after Saturday and regular Kaylee sometime for at least four or five hours. If there's a Firefly panel, I'll probably be there.

I'm planing on being River (maiden Head outfit) on Sunday. Will there be a photo shoot?

Roseathorn, that's the same River outfit my friend is doing! She had the dress custom made or something like that. lol. Unfortunately, we will not be able to do a meetup on Sunday, as we are also cosplaying Once Upon a Time characters and there's a huge meetup/photoshoot on Sunday afternoon that we want to attend.

I hope I see your Ghostbuster!Kaylee, supergeekgirl, that sounds AWESOME!

They haven't posted the place time for this year yet, but they should on the Wheadonverse track site: http://whedonverse.dragoncon.org/ They didn't have one last year, but in 2010 they had it at the Westin Hotel Saturday night, so I'm guessing it will likely be the same place.

Hello everyone! I'm the track photographer for the Whedon Universe track, and I wanted to let everyone know that the (tentative) track schedule has been posted at http://whedonverse.dragoncon.org/schedule/. There are a few events that cosplayers will find of interest. The annual costume contest in the track room at 4PM Sunday. Megi is in charge of this, and she has already posted about it at http://www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=297617. I will have a backdrop set up in the track room, and I will be taking photos of each contestant after they have appeared in front of the audience and judges. Last year's photos are available here: http://www.scifigeek.info/convention...ostumeContest/. Directly after the costume contest, at 5:30PM on Sunday, we will have an additional hour in the track room for taking pictures in front of the backdrop. This photo shoot is available to anyone in costume, even non-Whedon costumes.

I know some people won't be able to make it to the costume contest and the photo shoot, so I will also be taking pictures at the Shindig, which is at 10PM on Saturday in the Westin Peachtree Ballroom. If you see a guy wandering around with a ton of camera equipment, it's probably me, so please come up and ask for a photo.

If someone wants to organize an additional Firefly photoshoot, I'll do my best to try to be there. Last year I was told that the Westin does not allow photography in any public areas such as hallways, so another location would have to be used.

None of us can do the Sunday afternoon shoot as we are all already committed to other things, but we have a very large Firefly group cosplaying on Friday/ Friday night and may want a photographer. (We're only short a Kaylee, Book and Mal for the main cast - may put the word out if we get a photographer.)

I think we're in the same boat as far as our group is going. It looks like we're going to be pulling our crew together on Saturday night, especially for the return of the Shindig. Unfortunately, Sunday is Potter day for us, when we cycle through like.... 5 costumes each from Potterverse. xD
