I think I'm done sharpie dyeing Pascal's wig. For some reason the color came out a bit darker in the photots than it actually does(it looks close to the artwork color version).

Looks great!!! I like the reddish tone on the bottom.

So I finally bought my based wig Lloyd and will worked on it. I more likely going to finished this cosplay for the upcoming next year since Im debating if I should use bottomweight fabric like twill or go to the next level and use pleather for the jacket part.

I like the first wig better because it actually looks closer to Colette's hair color, in my opinion. But her hair color, as with all things in Tales, changes depending on what you're looking at. I went with a very light blonde.

I'm actually working on Colette's cruxis crystal now! If you're up for casting resin, that's one way to make the gem part. I found a mold with a diamond shape and used EasyCast resin and hardener, plus some translucent red dye. That's as far as I am at the moment, but I'll let you know what I end up doing once I've finished it. I can say that I plan on using craft foam, though, and shaping it a little with heat because that method worked out well for me when I made Rita's blastia.

Thanks! It was completely unintentional though as the strands refused to get any darker on the bottom. I also started altering the shirt I thrift-ed for Pascal but I ended up not being able to sew it at all because I forgot to buy thread in the right color. >_>

After playing the game (in Japanese) last year, I really fell in love with Elise and her crazy dress. I have no idea how I'd make it, but I would like to cosplay her someday, if only to carry around a Tipo plush!

Me too. I got the official artbook with me so that would help me a little more on making her outfit. But not right now, maybe for next year after I finished with this I have in mind first.

FeralSheep (woah, I just realized that you're probably the same FeralSheep I was talking to on tumblr not so long ago XD), I finished my Colette cosplay! Here's what I ended up doing for the cruxis crystal.

I used craft foam for the necklace. The top one was much thicker, and I bent it into shape and used heat to help shape it. (I have no heat gun, so I used the heat coming from our stove burners and a low-med setting, haha.) After shaping it, I painted it golden with some basic all-purpose paint. I did the same for the necklace part of the crystal. I cut two long strips for the parts that go around the neck, two short parts that connect from the around the neck part to the base of the crystal, the base part, and then the two bottom parts. I assembled them together and used super glue. The crystal part is made from EasyCast resin.

Okay, I feel really dumb for asking but what would Pascal's shorts be classified under in terms of color? A light orange? I realized that I'm probably not going to be able to find fabric like that so I'm going to dye to get it but I can't decide if it is light orange or an orange-brown something or other...

They look orange to me, but definitely not a bright, saturated orange. So maybe a tan-orange? Are you using RIT dye? I would suggest looking through their color guide. Some of the Ylo-Orange/Peach mixtures look like they could work.

Yup, that was me! And thank you so much! I've actually ended having someone else do it for me, but the info will definitely be handy for future use! And I may try making my own any ways.

Alright Animecon is over and even if only around 5 people recognized me they all were really happy to see me cosplay him. Two of them took several pictures and gave me company during the con and tried to even offer me food. I feel flattered, hehe xD

So I´m really glad that my last con for Kratos (for this year) went so well and that people was happy to see this cosplay there. I also encountered one Jade Curtiss and Colette Brunel cosplayer at the con, but one guy told me that there was a Sheena Fujibayashi cosplayer too but I never ran into her during the con sadly.

Also, I finally got around to beating the future arc in Graces and I love the dress Sophie wears at the end. If my friend doesn't end up doing it, I have to do it in the future at some point.
