I dont get how this could happen? Boggles my mind.

So I was looking at a photo that was taken last year at Hal-con and a photo that was taken this weekend at Animaritimes. Same costume nothing different. and I look a LOT smaller. The thing is I have not lost any weight. I eat healthy but am Severely anemic and Only had it diagnosed about a week ago. Im finally getting some energy back but Ive been strict with keeping an eye on the scale not letting myself gain but knowing if I couldnt exercise I couldnt lost much weight. So I proudly managed to stay the same weight all winter. But looking at this I just look much smaller even my legs and thighes. Anyone have any ideas. This boggles my mind.

Last year at halcon Much more belly buldge and you dont see it there but my legs were bigger.

I think part of it is that in the first picture compared to the second picture there is a slight angling difference with your body. Also it might look different because in picture one the buttons are smoothed down to fit you body but while the other cosplayer is fixing them in picture two they are kind of ruffled and sticking up, perhaps conforming to a straighter line down the vest? I don't know.

About the third one, nearly everybody's belly seems to look better in front-shots than side-shots(including mine). When I stand in front of the mirror, my belly looks pretty much normal. But when I stand at my side(especially after heavy meals) it looks like I'm 5 months pregnant. But you're correct that you look significantly slimmer in the two latter photos. I'm not sure what else could be causing it if you've been maintaining your weight.

Angling and probably Perception.

some days i think i am thing but other days i think i fat even though i am still the same weight. It's all about the mind and perception =P what one person thinks will differ to another.
