I've done BB/TDK Scarecrow and TDK Two-Face:

I'm recosplaying my Two-Face. It's for a cosplay show this time however. It's sort of like a fashion show with a couple poses.

During previous shows I always had something that I did, for example... I was a rockabilly/greaser zombie (more here & here) and when I hit the first pose I had blood in my mouth that I let come pouring out, ie: Zombie 1 & Zombie 2

The next time I was an evil clown (more here) and I popped balloons that had glitter inside of them so they burst everywhere and then threw glitter into the audience, ie: Evil Clown 1 & Evil Clown 2

I've been racking my brain for something performancey that Two-Face could do. Unfortunately Two-Face mostly just seems to use handguns in TDK and machine guns in The Animated Series. Aside from that, the only memorable prop is the coin. All I could think of was using a watergun, but I feel like the crowd might not be too happy about that... XD

Can you think of anything cool and show-y that I could do during a performance?

Inuki1 - That Two-Face is pretty cool!

I would suggest learning to flip a coin with minimal error. Get a larger coin prop, perhaps, so the audience can see it better? I don't know. Two-Face isn't really a flashy guy. Even in Batman Forever, he is more loud and boisterous, making his thugs do more of the work. :/

Hmm...yeah, focus on that coin...juggle them or something, haha.

When I was thrift hunting for my upcoming cosplays I found a really cheapie machine gun that made sound effects when the trigger was pulled. I considered getting it for Two-Face, but mine is more of the TDK Two-Face and he only uses a hand gun. It's more TAS Two-Face who uses a machine gun so I resisted buying it for consistency/accuracy's sake. :S

Sorry to double-post, but the event went well! I ran into a cosplayer I've met at previous cons who is planning to do Scarecrow at the next 2 cons, so I may join in as Two-Face at least once or twice (get it? Twice? -_-).

There was also a pretty awesome Robin and Deadpool there!

Here are some pics from the event:

Enjoy

I am planning to cosplay as Poison Ivy (Arkham Asylum game version) and Maxine Gibson from Batman Beyond for SDCC 2013. Anyone else considering doing some good old fashion batman beyond cosplaying?

Right now I'm making Ame-Comi Robin! (Who I found out today now appears in the Ame Comi Comics... She's Carrie Kelly!)

Speaking of Carrie Kelly, I've been wanting to cosplay her Robin outfit (original one) but I honestly think I might be too damn tall and curvy! She's supposed to be this petite little 13 year old girl and I...am not.

I have, however, been thinking about doing a femme Jason Todd, maybe for Anime North 2013. I've been losing energy and momentum when it comes to sitting myself down in front of my sewing machine, and I've been thinking maybe working with props and accessories for a bit might get me out of my slump, and the Red Hood helmet looks simple and fun to make. Would it be horrible and inappropriate if I tried to get my boyfriend to re-wear his Joker costume for that? I feel like it probably would.
