I decided to start making Padme's "peacock" gown from episode III (cut scene). it was on all the posters etc, and has always been my favorite. I found the PERFECT taffeta for the under-dress today, so I bought 7 yards....hope it's enough, with all that pleating and smocking I might need more 0_0 wish me luck~!

I won't be at Celebration (maybe some year!) but I do want to share the best costume I've ever made, Padmé's rainbow lake gown. I've dreamed of wearing this dress ever since I saw Episode II, and now I have it!

Wow, that is stunning. I too love that dress, but it looks very complicated to make. You did an awesome job though.

Anyone know where to get a shadow guard costume? The royal guard and senate guards are awesome, but I just like the all black shadow costumes.

This site does the Royal Gaurd and since each costume is custom maybe he could do it in black instead of red.
