I'm looking forward to an age where the Nobel Prize awards are more popular than the olympics because you know, people who spent their lives learning to run really fast are better than scientists.

Yup, that's mainly what I'm trying to make sure I can watch. And if possible, the equestrian events. I can't believe Ian Millar is STILL in the Olympics. (FYI, he's a Canadian equestrian jumper who's been going to all but one olympic games since 1972. He's 65 now. I thought he'd have retired a long time ago. X_X)
I may watch track events too. Canada usually brings home medals.

Only problem with that is it doesn't make for good entertainment for most people. I'm a gigantic nerd who's always studying something and has always utterly failed in all attempted sports, and academic awards ceremonies put me right to sleep. (The Ig Noble prizes, though, are better....)

I know what you mean. While watching gymnastics, I have a tendency to pay a little too close attention to the routines.

Yep. I've never done gymnastics myself (though I'm hoping I can take it up this fall), but I have a pretty big knowledge of moves and techniques. ...Mainly by a huge readthrough of the code of points and a couple educational montages on youtube that showed all of the listed moves on each apparatus.

Well, the Nobel prize is pretty much all politics anyway. In fact the peace prize is basically a popularity contest (and it's had some pretty bad winners) and a lot of scientists have never been recognised because they died before it was possible to award them (and they refuse to give them out posthumously).

To heat things up during oral, surprise your man by going down on him with a mouth full of hot sauce.

The Olympics aren't my thing to watch. The opening ceremonies looked pretty awesome.
But the people SPAMMING my Facebook with Hetalia-related victories...oh my god please make it stop. It's bloody annoying. =.=;

I shall take random pictures with Pascal and my dollie =D

I think at AB I can bring one as long as it's small and not super heavy... Otherwise I dunno how to make one without it being lame.

Suuuuhweeeeeeeeeeeet

My friends and I actually ranted about this the other day. And about how science and math are still dominated mostly by males. The simple (yet implausable) situation to draw more attention to science: celebrity endorsements.

I'm personally looking forward to cycling. YES I'm aware that the Tour de France just ended, but I've got to root on Teejan VanGarderen (5th overall in the Tour this year). Turns out he graduated from my high school the yeaer after I did. o_O

How does one make a realistic looking frying pan without it falling apart Dx
