Anyone else planning on Guild Wars 2 this month?
I'm so freakin excited I can't even stand it! I played GW1 up until maybe 9 months ago (hi, I'm Tia, and I'm a title whore) so this is my main thing. Been playing L4D/D3/Borderlands to kill time, but it's finally HERE!

PERSONA 4!!!! CHRIS BROWN'N ERE'ONE WITH KANJI!

The game is so much fun. Some of the match ups are pretty brutal at this point and counterpicking is gonna be a problem, but I played until 2 in the morning last night without realizing how much time had passed.

Take note Capcom, THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE A FIGHTING GAME! Decent sized roster of well balanced characters that everyone can enjoy playing. Robust story modes. Good tutorials. The best netcode I have ever seen in a fighting game. Persona 4 Arena is damn near the perfect fighting game.

I'm playing SoulSilver again. ^^ Just beat the Johto E4 and am heading to Kanto.

My current team is Typlosion, Ampharos, Vileplume, Gyarados, and Lugia. I know, pretty common team, but I like it. XD I'm starting to regret using Vileplume though... it learns pretty weak moves. I just keep it on the team because it's a status inflicter/cleric.

Been going through Prototype 2 after finishing Katamari Damacy (Which is sweet nonsense type of game).

Prototype 2's protagonist can be summed up by the following: "Stereotypical thug black guy". Game is still fun, and the movement methods mean you zip around the continent like superman instead of slowly climbing around like in Assassin's Creed, Saboteur, Infamous...

Not sure how I feel about the whole "consuming people" thing.

Having a Persona 4 Arena launch party at my university. Yep, Narukami is definitely my main, followed by Chie.

I'm really tired of hearing weeaboos complain about the English voice acting when it's really good to begin with, though. I dare say it's still way better than the Japanese voice acting in my opinion, just like the original Persona 4. Damn animu kids can't even appreciate the language they speak at this point.

The only complaint I've heard about the voice acting thus far is, "THAT's NOT MY CHIE! THAT'S NOT MY TEDDIE! WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!"

But you get over it pretty quickly. The VA work in that game and in persona 4 proper is excellent. Makes me worry about golden though.

Pikmin. First time I've played it all the way through. 25/30 pieces, did not make it off the planet.

That game really sets you up to fail the first time through.

Nope, but I really want to. My netbook wouldn't be able to handle it, and I'm still waiting for the Vita version. Here's hoping Sega localizes that version too.

We're get the English version in 2013 if SEGA is to believed.

Back from vacation, where I put some time into Persona 2:OS for the PSP. I want to buy P4 Arena something fierce, but several friends have threaten to cut me real bad if I do so, as I'm most likely getting it as a b-day gift.

I did pick up Skullgirls though, which plays like a dream on my PS3 arcade stick. Between those 2 games and VF5:FS, this has been a dope year for fighting games, especially w/ Capcom re-releasing a lot of their PS1/DC era games on PSN/XBLA over the coming weeks.

I'd kill for (and buy 10 copies of) an all-NieR Theatrhythm game, but since the game was so poorly-received in the US, the odds of that are slim. (Though in Japan, SE's still pushing out remix/ cover CDs for the game.) Hence why I'd settle for just 5 or so songs from it in a $40 game.
