Question my KHR Dying Will Flame

(i know im not the best prop-maker but...)well im putting together a tsuna cosplay and i made a dying will flame using this tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yL-UVoxh9R4
is it good, should i think about re-making it or should i make the color darker?what do u ppl think about it? *oh btw i havent added the hair clip to it yet cuz i dunno if im gonna remake it a different way just ignore that fact k?*

Honestly, It looks a little clumpy. I think you could have easily made this out of transparent plastic sheets. Like acrylic I think is what it is. I know somewhere you can buy them in the colors you need. Then just cut the shape out. But for the way you did it, It's still actually pretty good.

what would i use to cut these plastic sheets? how thick are they?

I believe an exacto knife should do the trick. And you can get them in veried sized. Go for the thinner ones

oh just an xacto knife?! THANK GOD! i thought u were going to suggest a dremel thingy and theres no way im buying one cuz i have no idea how to use one. well it certainly does seem faster to make than what i have now. thanks a lot! i hope they sell this stuff in home depot.

Well dremels are usually for detailing..but I guess that would still work lol But yea, if you get the real thin stuff the exacto should do.
