I don't think there is a shoot scheduled at all. It would be nice to have a meet-up. During SJ, I feel every time I was cosplaying from LoK all of the LoK cosplayers had already changed x.x Didn't get to see/take pics with many

I won't be able to join you guys at the meetup on Saturday; my co-host and I are CRAZY BUSY Saturday of the convention due to all the cosplay panels we're filming. However, if any of you are around during the convention, don't be offended if I stop you and ask for an interview.

I would be more than happy to do a small shoot, but I warn you that I don't have a lot of experience so if you know of some other photographers please post. Looking for a photographer - Saturday Sept 1 - Afest - Dallas, Tx Looking for a photographer for a small Legend of Korra photo shoot on either Saturday (The 1st) for Afest at 2:00pm. Hey gang. I will be in my Steampunk Mako outfit Friday, and Regular Mako Saturday for the shoot if we can get one scheduled. At the very least, a meet up or lunch gathering would be awesome. ^_^

I would be okay with whatever you guys decide. I do have a teeeennnnyy request wherever it is, can it be in the shade? Lin's armor is hot and there is so much heat I can take before I need to move to a place with AC.

If the Hall cosplay doesn't run too long I'll be there in My Gen. Iroh II as well.
 I'll also bring my own camera. Somewhere with plenty of shade for a midsized group? Best bet would be either in the hotel lobby maybe, in that section in front of the South Towers (next to the computer lounge. Or in the 1st floor convention area, next to the windows, where a-kon usually set-up their autograph tables. Afest will more than likely have that area clear. |

I like the one by the south towers. Or near the resteraunt by the revolving doors on the first floor. Or if we wanted to be more scenic (with shade) there are stairs beneath the skywalk where I know Naruto cosplayers shoot a lot. There should be plenty of shade there in the afternoon if y'all want to do something outdoors.
(And is there a forum I can post the time/location so we don't overlap with another group?) |

Overlap isn't a big problem unless both groups gather in the same place, though con etiquette is usually whoever plans it gets it 1st.
Posting here and on the AFest forums is your best bet. |

Ok. Can do.So, how's this:
3:00pm Saturday afternoon @ the steps below the skybridge (outside) that gives us shade, and a nice scenic spot for some great pics. I don't think we'll be out there very long, so your armor shouldn't get too terribly hot. |

That sounds like a good plan. Most of the big photoshoots happen around 10am to noon and then later in the afternoon when it gets to around sun set. 3pm sounds great. Can't wait. Just one more week.
