Also, assuming this is a general Vocaloid cosplay chat, I was wondering if I could get some advice.

We're trying to make a Matryoshka cosplay PV, and one of the scenes we're making in it is a concert scene. We have 8 people (Miku, Gumi, Rin, Len, Kaito, Meiko, Luka, and Gakupo) in the concert scene, and they each have to play an instrument, and we're obviously limited to instruments that are played in Matryoshka.

Miku and Gumi are obviously voice, the Kagamines are electric guitar, Kaito will be on bass guitar, Luka on keyboard, and Gakupo on drums, but we don't know what instrument to make Meiko play. >__< Any ideas? We're thinking another bass guitar, or electric guitar, or another instrument we strangely never managed to pick out from Matryoshka. Help!

I'm thinking of buying a Miku wig, but I've noticed a lot of her pv outfits look similar to her default outfit. Can you please suggest some of her more unique pv costumes (I already know if Sandplay, Matryoshka, and Alice Human Sacrifice). Btw, I'm not nearly a good enough seamstress for ball gowns.

I'm back to working on my Dark Woods Circus Miku cosplay... At the moment I'm painting the flowers for the face, that I'll be done with tomorrow. I'll finish them surprisingly fast, considering that there are 44 of them. XD Then back to working on the dress... I need to paint loads and loads of little circles and flowers and stuff on it. Next will be the jewellery and the legs, and I'll be done! XO

This time for real I'm trying to finish it before the end of September. Con is on the 23rd. I'm terrified of the contest, haha.

In the end I'm picking a normal dresss to make for my formal. I might adapt my old prom dress into a Gumi It's a wonderful cats life dress for the dance tho X3 if I get fed up with my original design (after buying all the fabric today >_<; )

they are going to ask you a bunch of questions about how you made outfit... Surround you and take a really close loo and thats about all. it can be fun (but I won't say I'm not scared every time I do it) unless you are doing a walk on during a masquerade I know nothing about that. But good luck :3

I'm watching this right now and trying to figure out in second song. the only vocaloid female wearing the hat is Lilly? And it's weird cause the vocaloids are wearing different outfits like Rin and Gakupo. Or yeah...
heh. I haven't been on this site in a while after it wouldn't let me upload my new Rin Kagamine pictures. -_-'
And some new Rin cosplays but some are to complicated to me like the big ballroom gowns. Is there something out there with their outfits? Like references for their different outfits? I know someone made a link on here once but I can't remember which page it was on. lol Thanks.

Thanks. I've been to several contests already but I'm still scared everytime. XD But I just don't think cons are as much fun if you don't get to participate in the contest.

I actually just found out that Machigerita is releasing a novel of Dark Woods Circus. From what I've seen in the pictures it has nothing to do with Vocaloid but anyway, I love the story of the song so I would totally get that book. XO

Gah, I am so ready to cosplay Len at AWA now >w< I forgot how happy Vocaloid makes me.

..I also want to cosplay way too many of the Vocaloids. While I was a bit disappointed in most of Len's designs for Project Diva F (I think the F stands for female...they all got the really cool designs >_>), there are a couple I want to do, though I'm not sure how I'll manage it. And Piko, but he seems impossible to achieve right now.
Then there's Vocaloid 3 and its plethora of adorable girls I want to cosplay...Yuzuki Yukari was my initial choice, though, as I think about it and how it would look on me, I don't really like it that much anymore. Aoki Lapis is standing out now...but that means I really, really need to lose weight in just a few months. Like, get a flat stomach by the time I order her costume (which I would need by Momocon, in March). And I'm also not sure whether to do her default outfit, or get a friend to order an alternate outfit for her from Taobao for me. Decisions, decisions.
Either way, I want to get in that groove where I want to cosplay all the Vocaloids and nothing else for a while. I like being in that groove. XD
