Just started seriously trying to eat better, track food, and all that. Posting here to keep myself motivated. Since costumes are the main reason I want to lose some chubbiness anyway.

When the needle on my scale went down past 170 into the 160's for the first time, I was so shocked I got off the scale and re-weighed myself XD

I actually gained 7 pounds in a couple months, and I wanted to go back to my previous weight, 102 lbs. I lost this weight after 2 months of working out 5-7 times/week. But I gained some muscle mass too and I'm actually skinnier then I was before at 102 lbs. My waist used to be around 63 cm at 102 lbs, now it is 60 cm. I still weigh myself, it's a habit, but now that I see all the changes in the mirror, I don't really pay a lot of attention anymore to the scale and I don't have a real goal weight anymore.

Oh my....Let's see if I can stick to this!

I was down to 133lbs but then started going to the gym and focused mainly on weights, and my weight shot up to 144lbs but my waist size stayed the same. Apparently I'm built like my mum and put on muscle easily.

I'm currently at: 144lbs and 28" waist
Goal Weight: 133lbs, or 26" waist

Been sick for the last week or so. Changing my routine to four days a week with three day breaks (not sure what I was doing before.) Counting calories, lifting weights, etc.
Can't wait to kick this cold, I'm excited to try out the punching bag.

I know I should be happy I've gotten as far as I did. granted this has been a 2 year process. I still feel like I cant cosplay what I want. >< hopefully I can drop the last 20 so pounds by Christmas but my new job makes my scheduling terrible. Afternoon shifts make it difficult to find time to work out when its 3 to 11 all day standing on your feet running through a factory. No excuses but I've got to find a better way to manage time. Diet is still in play. My weight has been around 145 for almost 2 months now so I'm worried I've hit a wall because of work.

I hope everyone is having better luck

Been a long while since I updated, but that's because I didn't have any progress to update. I finally got a job frying donuts and decorating cakes (and I've been counting that as exercise because, sweat) and a new phone with a calorie counting app. Both seem to have helped me break that plateau I was on, at least a little. But I still need to step it up. Sure, I'm happy that I can wear size 14 jeans (and my junior prom dress, consequently) when I started this journey pushing size 20, but I saw pictures of me from a party this weekend and I realize that I still have a long way to go before I'm comfortable enough with myself.

I've been on and off with my diet and it slows me down. I'm trying my best not to gain it all back. I CAN DO IT! Although, 8 pounds doesn't seem much, it makes a huge difference. My pants and shirts aren't as tight as they used to be. I have a lot of muscle, too but I still need to lose some.
