Hi everybody. I am rather new to cosplay, and so far have never tried to do anything of the size. Basically, I want to sport a troll female costume for it, WoW style. So far I have figured out props and what to wear, but I have a couple of unresolved issues:

1) Bodypaint - I have read about everything on it and still can't decide. I will have to walk around in it for quite a while and it has to stay on. I figured PAX is what stays on for long - but will I be able to get it in UK (where I am now) and is it safe, especially on face? I am only planning to cover my palms, part of the hand, my face and neck. Everything else will be covered by clothes. Any suggestions here?

2) Prosthetics - as in, ears and tusks. Ears I figures you can probably buy from any party store, but tusks I got zero idea what to make from.

3) Shoulderpads - I know how to make them and of what, but wondered is there are any suggestions about comfortably connecting them to my body?

4) Staff - what's the best material? I wanted to take a stick and then cover it in papier mache - but I don't know how well it could work?

Would be extremely grateful for any suggestions from cosplay pros ^_^

1) unless u want to wear this for more than one day, don't use pax cause it's a pain to take off. Use gloves for the hand (u can cut around where skin needs to show and where the color is. Or use a hydrocolor product from Wolfe fx or mehron. (the super seal w a final seal finishing spray)!
2) uk should have some sort of theater prop place in which u would get the tusks and ears. Or u can order online from the us and have them shipped.
4) I'd use either PVC base or a wooden dowel. Then use spray insulation foam to carve the shape.
