So, pretty much 100% complete, minus the tattoos because I only have enough ink for PAX this weekend. Thoughts, opinions, suggestions? All are welcome

Wow. That looks AMAZING. Literally, brilliant work Tarah. You should definitely keep cosplaying :-D.

While I don't know how practical it would be trying to get the same cell shaded look as borderlands, I bet you looked great with the ink set up.

If your eyes were as bright as hers, and you looked cell shaded IRL, you would have looked almost exactly like her. And that's pretty awesome.

If you're ever at Acen, with any cosplay, hit me up for a terrible photoshoot okay? Annnnnd I'm just curious, did you ever play through Borderlands/are you excited for the second one coming out just barely a week and a-half from now? :-D

I want the mechromancer, bring on 'girlfriend mode' lol.

I'm actually fairly new-ish to Borderlands to I haven't played it through yet, but I love it and am stoked for the BL 2!! I probably won't be at acen, its just too far for me to go for just a few days and there's really not many cons anywhere near me other than PAX Prime (that I know of at least) It's unfortunate *tear*

And I have to giggle. I found Lilith by googling for female game characters, liked the look of her, Youtubed some clips of Borderlands (listened to a track of her voice clips and thought 'Man she sounds like a bitch..') and then bought the game, and started planning my costume before I hit level 20.

Can I ask what product you used to make your tattoos?

Hahahaha that is vaguely similar to my "Lilith beginnings". Ever since it first came out several of my friends kept telling me I looked like this Lilith character in some game but I never really invested much thought into it. One day I saw the posting for Gearboxes live-action Lilith and I was like "hmmm...why not?", expecting nothing out of it. Each time they got in contact with me to progress further in their decision making I was like "really!?", then when it came down to a Skype meeting and only a few girls I thought "oh sh*t I better start playing this game" so I ran out and bought it. Totally fell in love with the character, didn't get the job, but continued to make my own costume of her for fun.

For the tattoos I used a film quality airbrush ink called "Endura". I wasn't able to airbrush it on because you can't really make a stencil of that pattern, so I actually hand painted it on. Jus be aware it doesn't come off easily. It's still on me at this exact second hahaha!

If you want someone to play BL1 with, I'll give you my gamertag if you feel like PMing me. I started a Siren not too long ago, and she's nearing level 20, so if you have any characters close to her we should get some co-op going lol.

Anyways, if you cell shaded yourself, your cosplay would be beyond perfect. Grats once again .

Sounds like a plan! I've been playing on my boyfriends account (accidentally started on it, got too far in to restart on mine) and I'm not sure what his gamertag is, but I'll look in a bit and find out. I actually did a photoshoot shortly after PAX with a photographer friend of mine, and I added some cell shading to the hoodie, etc. Its not too extreme but I love how it turned out in the photos.
