I am doing this costume..I have all those parts basically done.
You may not want to go my route and make the shoulder and leg armor out of metal, but I can still help A LOT. I also have a paperclay shoulder armor for just in case.
First, here is me wearing the costume before the armor is attached:
Here is my paperclay armor so far:
Here is my bicep thing...I don't know the name:
Here is my Wrist thing..It's called a bangle I'm told:
Here is my gloves with the claws:
Ok, Lets begin.
Shoulder: If you want to go the way I did on this one and use paperclay, You need a whole bag of the one that is in a black package with a horse on the front..You get it at michaels..Use THIS
toturial. Use a wig head (what I used) or other rounded object that matches your shoulder, and do the tutorial on it. Then use a wooden dowl and cut off 3 same length parts and stick them to the drying clay and use MORE clay to help hold it on. Let it dry a few days and sand it and put more clay on it and sand again filling in cracks after it dries each time. Then line the inside with foam so that it's more comfy, and make a way to connect it. If you want my method, let me know and I will detail it out for you. Then use gesso around it, sand and color. Done..
Bicep thing..Now with this it is VERY easy..Everything is just strips of craft foam that you can find at any crafting store. They are also called Fommies. Just cut the strips, glue and paint. Easy..
The bangle is harder. I did mind out of cardboard. I used a shipping tube you can get at a post office or hardware store. I cut it the length to go to my mid arm length. then I used the same one, and cut much much smaller curcles and made them go around and around and around to give it the raised look, and used smaller pieces to make up for when it wouldn't reach around all the way to complete the circle. Then I used small dowels that fit inside medium wooden spools and cut them to be sorta flush with the spools then used wood glue to glue everything together, paper mached the whole thing and painted it.
The claws. I bought brown leather gloves on ebay and black nylon gloves off ebay. I cut the fingers off the brown ones and put the left nylon one inside the left brown one. The claws are cut out of the same craft foam mentioned above. I used a hair dryer against each one to heat it up a lot then formed them to what I needed to fit on my fingers then I used velcro with the sticky backs to connect them.
Anything else? I can help you with ANYTHING on this character. Also, For the love of God. DO NOT use silver belts on the leg ones. You see the main artwork picture and it shows silver belts for the thy and calves but IN GAME they changed them to be black because it looked better.
