Hey everyone. Wow, its been way too long since I have been in here. Shame on me!!
I've had a Ten cosplay for a long time now but always missed one thing. Tens damn fantastic hair! I'm curious if anyone knows of a good place to get a good Ten wig. Or knows of a specific wig? Any help would be great. Thanks guys!

My wig, as seen in this picture, is from the seller astral-bargains on ebay. It was the chestnut color of the wig labeled: Short Spikey Womens/Mens Wig/wigs. It took a bit of styling to get it perfect, and I added fake sideburns cut from a chestnut-colored beard, but it was a GREAT buy. The price was right, and it's the ABSOLUTE most comfortable wig I've ever owned. No itching. No tight spots. The hair stayed where I put it with some Elmer's glue and hasn't budged.

I plan to do a lolita fem!Tenth Doctor. I'm not sure whether to use a light brown or a chocolate brown wig.

I'm also debating on whether to use a cardigan or a blazer as a stand-in for the coat. Any input?

I think the chocolate brown wig is closer match for hair color, and I think the blazer would be a great stand-in for the coat

I found a great trench coat at Saver's so I went ahead and got it. I think I'll still get a blazer though, to make the outfit look more like the suit. I put together a polyvere set of what I'm planning.

A friend and I are planning a Doctor "regeneration mashup" cosplay. That is, mixing and matching the various attires from a few or more of the Doctors in one cosplay (something like this pic I shot earlier this year).

While he's planning to do something with all the Doctors, I'm just gonna mix Nine, Ten and Eleven together. Here's the plan:

Nine - jacket, navy blue t-shirt
Ten - pants, red or white Converse shoes, sky blue dress shirt
Eleven - bowtie, fez or Stetson
All - both sonic screwdrivers, psychic paper prop

Looking to break out Jack for NM Tricon and Halloween. The Vortex Manipulators I ordered over a year ago are due to arrive tomorrow, but I will probably wear the custom one.

So, a day before Halloween, I've decided to just use my updated Fem!Eleven cosplay. I'm really excited, because this is the first year I'm attending a school that allows students to go to school in costume on Halloween. Also really excited because I'm testing out the update for the first time, and I'll get to see if the pieces work or whether I'll need new ones before GallyOne (which, is in about 3 months, so I'll be trying to get all my cosplays done by the end of January. Amazing how time flies.)

Apparently the group of friends for Dragon*Con 2013 is going to consist of Doctors 8-11, as well as a River Song. Amazingly, 9 and 11 are done with their outfits, as is River Song. 8 is commissioning his outfit, and I really should get to work on my 10.

I honestly think the hardest part of the 10 costume is the wig right now. But I've got a while to look for the right one, so we shall see. (suggestions for 10 and 11 wigs happily accepted)
