mecha franky
Im looking for some tips and a bit of info on how to make mecha frankys shoulders and arms, more so for the arms the joint. ive got the forearm and hands pretty much thought of right now.
Ne input on materials or how to would be excellent.

I think you defintely want to find some type of material that is light weight and won't crack easily. Maybe start off with a cardboard base and build around it? I would add a wooden dowel to hold the arm(s) and maybe make some fake hands...but thats just my suggestion. If you want to go all out, you can try to make the hands/fingers retractable using fish lines. I kinda did something slightly similiar... http://www.cosplay.com/photo/1447496/

Its a cardboard tube I got from a friend. I don't know where she got it from, but I think you can get those at a post office or UPS store. The circumference of the tube was really roomy that it never pinch my arm.

I have a trafalgar law costume coz I think he's really cool
 It's still incomplete though because I haven't found a solution for the earrings since I don't want to put holes on my ears hehe!

Ooh, Brook~ Wow, this thread hadn't been touched in a while.
Currently working on timeskip Nami and Luffy for my boyfriend. Nami's coming along well, but I couldn't find the right color jeans at the thrift store the other day, and I went with something that was just way too dark. .__. It's gonna nag at me foreverrrr. I also have no clue wear to find straw sandals, and it can't be online since this all needs to be finished by this Saturday. D: /cosplayissues sob I also have to do Sanji for a friend, but I don't think it counts since all ll I have to do is sew on the buttons on a blazer.

Good luck! I have no idea where you could find sandals. D: Perhaps you'll have enough time to try finding another pair of pants for Nami. Is there anyway you could make the sandals? That sounds easy to finish Sanji up, just a little tedious, haha. Best of luck!

I have a Luffy post-timeskip outfit. Next year I'm planning on making Luffy's outfit, consisting of his regular clothes and his pirate coat with the giant piece of meat, from the upcoming movie, One Piece Film Z.
