weft wrapping help

I am making Kanure Stella (aka Big Mama's) wig from the anime Sorcerer Hunters(Bakurestu Hunters) and I got a couple of ideas that involved batting and stuffing and wrapping wefts around it to form the bangs but what ideas do you guys have I research "tangled" Repunzel wigs to check out the batting and wrapping method but do you guys have any better ideas or links to good wrapping tutorials? and also how would you go about attaching the bangs to the base wig? thanks alot

if you're using batting or foam (which is definitely the best option. I would go about sewing it into the wig and then placing a hair clip or two (or three) by the hairline to keep it well in place.
that's a huge project- good luck!

as for the wrapping- use LOTS of hairspray and a hairdryer and make sure everything is smooth, so in small areas.

Looking at the picture I'm assuming you're talking about the front piece/bangs? To me that isn't hair, that's a similarly coloured fabric/material. For that I'd find the lightest materials possible, Styrofoam or some other air filled foam. Cover it with the material you need and just have the 'hair tips' come out of the bottom. To attach it just sew the wig carefully to the edge of the fabric. The 'bun' piece also doesn't appear to be made of hair, in this image it almost looks like gems or glass? Again, the lightest material possible since you'll have to get this all on your head. This could be a great place to hide a securing spot for the bangs piece as well as how to anchor it to your head.

The best suggestions I can give you. Avoid quilt batting, it seems light until you coil it up, then it's beastly heavy. If it doesn't HAVE to be hair, don't make it, it'll get expensive. And if you can make something hollow, do it!
