NYCC 2012 Vocaloid Cosplayers

Since the Vocaloid thread in the NYAF forum hasn't been getting a lot of traffic, I thought I would try here to get more responses.

We are trying to set up a gathering for Vocaloid cosplayers going to New York Comic Con this year. At the moment, we plan to have the gathering on Saturday some time, but this can change depending on other people's availability. So, if you are going to cosplay as a Vocaloid during NYCC, join us!

We are especially looking for Senbonzakura cosplayers right now, especially Senbonzakura Miku, Kaito, Meiko, and Luka. If you are interested, please let us know!

FRIDAY
Time: 3:45 (After CFM Panel)
Place: Outside 1A23 (Location of Asakawa Yuu Panel)
BACKUP Place: Location of Saturday gathering

SATURDAY, MAIN GATHERING
Time: Saturday, 1PM
Place: North Concourse next to escalators going down to A-Hall (We will move outside if the weather is fine approximately 5 minutes after the start time in case people arrive late)

SUNDAY
Time: 3:30 (After CFM Panel)
Place: Outside 1A23 (Location of CFM Panel)
BACKUP Place: Location of Saturday gathering

We will meet at the backup place only if it is too crowded. If that is the case, we will first meet up outside the panel and the move it to the backup location.

I'm actually going to NYCC on Saturday (October 11th) as Rolling Girl Miku. If you try to find me, I'm short, and I have a black eye, gauze, and a nosebleed.

I'm probably a lot shorter than you so it wouldn't look too good, but I'm going as a Vocaloid so yeah. xD

Well really want to do a casual Len as I said before but depending on money I could do that later and try to get Kaito done

I wouldn't say it's dying down. There were plenty of them in AnimeNEXT, Anime Expo, and Otakon. I think it's more like NYCC is scaring off anime and Vocaloid cosplayers by taking away the NYAF brand (even though I know there are other anime gatherings being planned).

In addition to this gathering, I want to try to see if those cosplaying as Vocaloids on Friday and Sunday would be interested in doing some kind of group photo shoot after the Vocaloid panels that day.

Well, hopefully see you on Friday or Sunday. I will be Senbonzakura Len during and after the Vocaloid panels (I will also have some bags with me since I will have switched out of another costume from earlier in the day).

If you haven't heard yet, I've decided to add a Friday and a Sunday gathering. These gatherings will occur after the Vocaloid panels outside those panels.
