Marvel Characters
So my friend is obsessed with Loki and is going to dress up as the girl version of him. She wants me to dress up as the guy version of a girl marvel character so we can match. Problem is I don't know marvel very well. A villainess would be preferred, but mostly I just want one that is more recognizable. Thanks for any help with this.

So not much info about yourself so I am just going to roll with it. So here we go:
Emma Frost (x-men) Dark Phoenix(x-men) Mystique(x-men) I usually lean towards reading x-men but to better match your friend's Loki inspiration here are some more that are more Thor related: Enchantress Lorelei Valkyrie (not a Villain though)

I can answer any questions about myself. Just didn't know what would help. I I was thinking of doing Emma Frost. Mystique would be to hard and messy though. Was also thinking of doing Scarlet Witch.

Emma Frost (the White Queen, as a villain) would be a bit tricky to keep recognizable if you didn't wear the corset and thigh-high boots. The cape could help, but I'd be worried it would just end up as a guy wearing white and you wouldn't be recognized as often as you'd like.
The Scarlet Witch is a great idea though. Her headpiece would be easily recognizable on anybody, and she is actually a great Avengers villain. Though most people think of her in her X-Men appearances, her House of M arc didn't just affect the mutants. She did quite a number on the Avengers. Probably more even than Loki. =)

If you're feeling adventurous there's always Black Widow since she's in the Avengers movie with Loki and would be very recognizable. I also agree that there are lots of female Xmen characters you could go with.

There are many villainess in the Marvel universe for every main Marvel hero ever created which is a lot. But on the top of my head:
X-men - (as mention above) Emma Frost, Dark Phoenix, Mystique, Scarlet Witch, Magik, Destiny, Lady Deathstrike, Psylocke. Spiderman - Black Cat, Lady Octopus. Ironman - Madam Masque, Morgan Le Fay. Thor - Enchantress. And many more that I can't really count. Is there a specific costume type you're looking for?
