I have never even heard of Anime ZAP XD though I usually don't pay attention to much like I should. They may very well be hiding XD I worked with a girl for a while and did not know she was a cosplayer and even went to the same convention as me

I'm right in Chicago. Even though the cosplay community is pretty big here, I fail at finding meet ups and always miss them. =~=

That's because all the cosplayers are hiding lol XD We blend in really well in this area unless there is a convention. Other than that it is pretty dead around here, right now the only exciting thing is the new IHop opening XD but if you come down this way again you now know you can come hang with us hidden geeks

lol I was thinking about branching out to St. Louis cons since I go to Kansas ones too. Maybe one day I'll encounter the elusive southern Illinois cosplayer. XP

Oh my gosh. Yes. The location was fantastic for pictures!
The new Orleans feel and the pool was so sweert!
And the dance wasn't too bad either (not too crowded- not too empty)
And it had better events than the first time, haha.

I just moved to Chicago a little over a month ago! I'm hoping to find out if there's little meet ups or events that go on throughout the year for cosplayers in the city. I don't really know any other cosplayers yet!

There is a meet up apparently at Navy Pier on the 27th of October. That's what I keep hearing from other cosplayers in the area here in Aurora.
