Boyfriend bought me Borderlands 2, so we played two hours of that before bed last night. I am enjoying it a lot more than Borderlands 1, which was in no way a bad game. It feels like everything flows better.

Gave up on El Shaddai. Too repetitive. Playing Ninja Gaiden Black. It's not as pretty, but it's a lot more fun!

Just started playing Star Project and My Candy Love.

All my feels go to Star Project. The casual gamer, dating sim lover, and fangirl in my soul can't get enough of this. .____.

BORDERLANDS 2 ALL DAY EVERY DAY I have literally not played any other games since it came out, aside from iOS games and stuff. Man.

If you liked the demo, then you will probably like the game. When I played the demo, I thought, "Hmmm, the fighting is sort of repetitive." But it seemed like it might be interesting in other ways so when I saw it for cheap I picked it up. Really - it's not a bad game. Mostly I thought that there was not enough variety in the levels and the bosses were long and tedious. If I were better at fighting and could move through things faster, I might have stuck with it. I liked a lot of things about it but after four chapters decided that, for me, it was more effort than it was worth.

I am loving Ninja Gaiden Black. But, man - this game is hard! Maybe not Demon's Souls hard. But still really hard.

Ahaha, oh, good to know! Looks like I can get it for $15 at GameStop now. I guess I know what I'm getting when I need a new single player game to start!

Mass Effect. I can't wait to get the trilogy pack for my PS3 this winter so I can play it on there instead of borrowing it for my 360. xD

::brofists:: I played NGB on the Xbox and it's easier than the original. But also dope. 2 is solid, but way easier, and WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T PLAY 3, IT IS AWFUL!

As for me, Borderlands 2, because it is dope, and Plants vs. Zombies on my Nook, because apparently it is 2010.

My only complaint about NGB is now that I'm nearing the end, the game is all like, "Yo, dawg. I heard you like boss fights so I put some boss fights before the boss fights and some boss fights after the boss fights and multiple boss fights in the boss fights and I'm not going to let you save after the boss fight so that you can get killed by FUCKING GHOST FISH and have to do the boss fight again."

I have NG2 and look forward to playing that. I've heard elsewhere that 3 is terrible.

LIKE THAT DUEL TANKS INTO 2 HELICOPTER BOSS FIGHT, YEAH, KIND OF THE WORSE.

NG2 has some cool moments, and is a lot easier. Also more of a ridiculous plot, which I'm fine with, because Ninja. Also I have to double check if I still have my copy, because if so, we can do BRO-OP!

You just gotta grind and max yourself out in every aspect.

I beat the last two chapters without much problem, but fighting that many bosses in a row is not that interesting to me. Especially when two of them were ones you already fought.

Doku and Ghost Doku (who I had to kill TWICE because of the DAMN GHOST FISH) were the worst for me. Oh, yeah - and that place where you had to shoot NINE satellite dishes while being continually bombarded by rockets? Yeah, that sucked.

But overall, it was lots of fun! I liked the variety in enemies - tanks AND dragons! - and the platforming. In most cases, once you figured out the best way to kill something, it worked pretty reliably. The only thing that I thought was really cheap was not being able to save right after a boss fight. I am still pissed about the ghost fish.

Don't stand still. You should get two to three dishes destroyed before any rockets start hitting the ground. Jump and roll is your best dodging defense.

Mostly just TF2 and Theatrhythm, lately. Replayed ZOE2 last week to get my fix while waiting for the HD Collection. Also did some BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend and Power Stone 2 with some friends last night.
