For the face, it won't work, but for your hand, you'd be better having a container of cold water so you can put it in instead of running tap water.

At least, it worked better for me when it came to burns. (Hope it sounds worse than it is!)

It's not too bad. My left hand has some sore patches on it, but my face got away with nothing but a bit of peeled skin behind the apple of my right cheek (I'll avoid shaving for a day or two to let it heal).

Want to buy all the Halloween decorations. This is the time of year my inner goth runs wild and buys everything and then leaves it out year-round. I have had these ghost and skull pillows on the couch for like three years. This year there's some really awesome tableware and drinkware and I think I might just have to replace my casual china.

Not so much the over-priced costumes, but the awesome everything else.

I've never cooked with pumpkin before to be honest, which is weird since I love pumpkin flavored everything.

Boyfriend, his brother, and I might go up to Ann Arbor this weekend and I am excited to get pumpkin spice bubble tea.

Next time you visit, we'll go to Friendly's, I promise you. The one in GC closed years and years ago and pretty much everyone misses it, but there are a couple of other ones not too far.

What I really miss is nearby IHOPs.

Also Mitt Romney is a twerp.

Since I'm super lazy, I always get canned pumpkin when I need to cook with it. Of course, if I wanted to do a stew or casserole or whatnot with chunks, I'd be SOL. You're supposed to get the smaller sugar or pie pumpkins to cook with, but I've never seen them in a store; around here you probably need to get to a farm stand to find them. The kind we all use for jack o' lanterns turn out pretty stringy and watery, from what I understand.

Speaking of boyfriend and food.......I just emptied out over 6 tupperware containers of leftovers I packed for him to bring to work. He likes the food, doesn't mind it reheated but for some reason just NEVER brings them to work and instead buys cheap and greasy gas station burritos or something....

He'll even mention "Oh i really like that and want some" but just wont grab the container of it when he leaves. Buh.
