Does anyone know a site I can order a pair of boots that look like chrome's. When I searched for them they were 60-100 dollars. o.o I don't care if they are not exact or knock offs. They only need to last 2 times a year. about 20 dollars for boots sounds good to me. The closest and cheapest you can find would really help. >.> free shipping helps too

When finding cheap boots, do make sure of the followings: Cheap boots can be very uncomfortable. I bought these boots from Forever XXI once and oh man I couldn't even last an hour wearing those boots.
Boots are not relevantly cheap. So it is hard to find boots for $20.00 but I was lucky when I found my Chrome boots.

I bought my Chrome boots from Platos Closet for about $15.00 (the original was like $30.00 apparently). I don't know why the previous owner would sell the shoes since they are from an expensive company... So I guess you should try thrift stores since. I actually go their a lot to find anything I can use for my cosplay. (I found a blue vest there I used for Tsuna lul)

That is gonna be extremely true..Boots like these are going to pretty much impossible to find new for under $35 or $40

Yea not gonna have a choice here..Even the ones on cosplay sites are half the time not even right looking..For just about anything lol They are good at that..
You should go to goodwill, St. Vincent's, Value Village, blah blah blah to find some. They can easilly be under $10 at those places if you look right..So that even gives you EXTRA money XD You can even talk them down half the time lol Done that EVERY time I go..Good luck finding ones that work ^_^

Are you partial to eBay?

I personally believe if you choose wisely, you can find shoes that show very little wear or none, and get it for 20 dollars or under off eBay, and that's the only place where I buy my shoes for cosplay.

Sorry for the long link. x___X That would be a refined search for black boots. I know Chrome has a buckle on the top of hers, and I would most certainly take a couple of those if I were to cosplay Chrome.

What I did was buy some really simple black boots from payless. You might be able to still find some there (even try Ross, TJ Maxx, or marshels). I bought some black straps that were similar to the material the boots were made out of. And then, I hand sew them on. Also hand made the skulls with a pin in the back to pin it on to the boots.

Total costed less than $20
