Grommets? Sorry I don't know a specific store to get them online. (I buy mine at local fabric stores). Hope someone has an answer for you!

Grommets or eyelets
Grommets are generally bigger than eyelets and usually the ones on shoes are called eyelets. Here's a link to get them in bulk: http://metalgrommets.com/faq.html
Or just go to your local fabric store. They usually have them with the notions or upholstery stuff. They are pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it and they certainly add a degree of quality to your project. Expect to ruin several of them before you get over the learning curve so buy more than you need. They're cheap so don't worry about that.

Hi guys,
I am wanting to cosplay Chichi but when she was young in Dragon ball, not Dragon ball Z. Where she was wearing a pink helmet and the blue two piece outfit and cape etc. The problem is I can't find ANYWHERE that sells this outfit, could anyone please help? I am probably going to have to make the helmet which is okay, but that bra/panties thing I have no idea how to make as I'm not crafty at all, so I'd prefer somewhere I can buy it. Thank you guys! |

A similar method to this might be good for that. Just make it in two parts, with closures at the sides
http://www.cosplay.com/photo/3292829/ You could also just make a front chest piece, and attach/wear it over a bra bustier. I would definitely wear something under the armor, though, just in case it cracks/slips. For the bottoms a bathing suit pattern would work well. Wear a nude thong or if you want your legs to look smoother + some more coverage wear dancer tights under the bottoms. |

Is this the image you are looking for? http://foogie.deviantart.com/art/Chi...onball-7913925
I can make this for you for $200. I would make the front as hard plastic armor and the back would be stretchy so it fit comfortably. The shoulder pads would be hard plastic too and the top panel of the bikini bottoms. For an extra $150 I can do the pink elements. Would you want the boots to be full like galoshes or close fitting like go-go boots? Either way I can make that happen. Let me know if you would like to commission me. This one looks like fun!

I want to stick cloth (something resembling a headband) to a mask made of craft plastic so I can tie it behind my head and hold the mask on. What kind of glue do I seek?

Fabric glue, tacky glue, super glue, hot glue,
I would avoid hot glue if its a thin fabric, as the lumps will show. Avoid super glue if the fabrics thin, too, as it will seep through and leave a hard/darker mark. |

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I don't really know my glues.
As far as visible lumps/marks on the fabric, though, I would be sticking this to the back part of the mask, so I don't see that being too much of an issue. That and I think I'd be using pretty thick cloth. Mostly I'm concerned with durability. If there isn't much difference in that regard, I'll probably try the tacky glue or fabric glue when I do that, since I might have one or both of those already.

Hey, so I'm making a Riza Hawkeye costume, but I'm having trouble with the jacket. I can't find a pattern for it. This is what it looks like:
http://images.search.yahoo.com/image...mb=lJ4QAfhoTSO I might be able to make it without a pattern, but a pattern would be nice. So if you could direct me to a place where they sell it or they have print outs, please let me know! ^_^ |

For wigs, I'd highly recommend Matchwigs.com, I've bought from the before, and I can guarantee quality!

http://theringlord.com/ Is good for chainmaille, scale, and small metalworking stuff. I've purchased from them several times and they're very easy to deal with.

How about adding truly Victorian to the where to get patterns list? Their historical patterns are beautiful! And for the most part, they're pretty easy, IMO.
