This is my very first costume I have ever done. I'm super proud of myself! C:
What do you guys think? What should I do to improve it?
I have the boots and gloves. I just don't have the pictures. Sorry.

I think it looks great construction wise! The ends of the sleeves and the hem of the shirt could be done differently (without the roll effect) however as you haven't provided reference pictures I am not entirely sure. ^_^

I have to disagree with the rolls part. The "v" on top of the skirt and the shoulder parts are suppose to be rolled like that.
The thing I am noticing however is that there are 3 rolls on the shoulders..Yours has only 2..Unless you are planning to make the version where they have the transparant 3rd one that looks weird..I don't know the name of it..

For a first timer this is amazing! It only has that one thing Jason mentioned about the 3rd sleeve roll missing but other then that its very good. You made the brooch too?

Yes, there should be 3 rolls on the sleeves instead of 2.

The only things I would note would be the ribbon on the collar looks a little off because it's shiny (I'm assuming a satin ribbon?) while the rest of your costume is matte, maybe you should consider using bias tape instead to get a better look.

Also your bow is a little droopy, you can fix that by tacking up the corners of the bow. And the 'v' in your skirt should be shaped more in a 'v', it looks like it's straight across ... maybe it's just because it's on the dressform?

Other than that it looks great! I'd love to see the boots and gloves ^_^

That's not Sailor Moon, that's the the other Sailor Scouts, that's in Super S, where Sailor Moon becomes Super Sailor Moon, and she has completely different sleeves and skirt.

This is actually amazing. I sew myself so I understand how difficult this could be. The only ting I would add is I would have pleated the skirt, it would have looked more like a manga and more accurate to the series. Nonetheless, Amazing!

And I know I only did 3 rolls for the sleeves but every time I did it, it just looked weird on me (it made my shoulders look very broad) , so I just left it as 2. For me, having only two sleeve rolls was a better choice.
and for some reason, the red bow is more shinier in the pic. In real life, the bow isn't shiny at all. The skirt and the bow are made with the same material. - Crepe satin.

It's made out of moldable plastic called Instamorph that I shaped then painted it gold. The jewels on it are made of colored polymer clay.

I was originally going to make the whole thing out of polymer clay but polymer clay is very heavy and it would have weighted the costume down. Then I found about Instamorph!

It looks fantastic for your first costume I bet your going to be great at making costume's. Things I would fix are maybe the ribbon change to bias tape if possible matte materials show up better in picture's and then I think your bow could use some work. For mine I do a measurement over the nipple of nipple to nipple xD I know sounds odd lol but it really helps once you get that measurement you times it by 3 and follow this tutorial. It just insures that the bow won't be to large on your body since that tutorial has one specific measurement and there bows are that length. I'd also probably use a lighter weight interfacing for the bow it looks a bit to hard or you may possible only have it on one side. I actually only interface the top area of my bows and leave the bottoms dangle but that's just a personal preference thing.

I probably would have pleated the skirt myself but lots of people do the ruffled skirt effect as well you could look up tutorials on how to do box or knife pleats if you wanted to re-do the skirt but I wouldn't really sweat it it looks pretty good honestly.

you should get a picture of it on as costume's always look different on and then of your gloves boots and arm rolls as well.
